I celibrated by 20th by myself too. I spent the day riding my horses. Then came home made myself a great steak dinner. After that I broke out the lovely bubblebath I purchased for myself, and spent a nice time having a great long soak in a hot bath, while reading a brand new Stephen King novel...so I also scared the b-jeezus out of myself. Nice day...I read until like 1AM.
Go someplace YOU enjoy, and do something YOU enjoy. The older you get, and the more demands that are made on you, you will actually look back with appreciation on days when you were able to be totally selfish and self-indulgent. Enjoy your day, and happy birthday.

Well, did you move alone or do you have a roommate or family with you ?If so have a small celebration with them. . . .Other wise, maybe ask some people from work if they want to go somewhere like to eat after work that evening. I'm sure people understand you just moved, and odds are you all want to get to know each other better so it will be a good oppertunity. . . .If none of that sounds good, then just be good to yourself that day! If you are alone, then maybe take the day to yourself, buy yourself something, and then go to a spa or get a pedicure and manicure. Get some of your favorite movies, and delicious take out food and enjoy the evening.

Find something touristy that you would never normally do or something expensive that you wouldn't normally treat yourself to.
I spent my 20th birthday in London, far from everyone I knew. I took a boat ride down the Thames river and oohed and ahed at the Tower bridge like all the other people from out of the area.
I had a great, if quiet day. Now, more than 10 years later, it is one of my most memorable birthdays.

I probably wouldn't bother. Honestly, I just don't think a birthday is that big a deal. So I wouldn't fret about it. If you really want to, though, just go out and have some fun, whatever you enjoy doing! If you get out there and do things, you'll meet people. That is how you make friends. So maybe your birthday can be your opportunity to meet people. Then next year you'll be all set!

I would go to Applebees because in my opinion they have a fantastic food and service. If you are short of money , i would celebrate with my family. Now if you are living by yourself and you dont want to fee lonely. Just get out of your house try to see a cool places.I did once when i spent my birthday alone. I decided to go a non profit instituition to feel that i am useful.
It was great!!!
Happy birthday!

Go out to a restaurant with the work friends, since you're too young for a bar. Maybe you make some new friends that way as well.

Go out and have a nice dinner, at a good restaurant. If you have met some nice young lady, invite her along, as your guest. If you are alone, enjoy yourself, and remember that next year your situation will have changed.

Go back to CT (Don't know where that is...) and celebrate it with your friends and family there. You'll be much happier.I am only 13,but because I had only 2 friends for a long time,I never had a birthday party for my 10th,11th,or my 12th birthday and it made me sad.But now I have 8 best friends so for my 13th party I was happy.
