This year I'm doing a SS thing in my class and I got a girl who is really nice and shouldn't be a problem.

Problem is I'm not sure what to get her. I have a list of things she likes and that's all fine for some small things but I don't want to look like i've bought her cheap dollar store things. We have a price limit in my class of 15 dollars so a lot will have to be dollar store. Then I need a bigger end of the SS present.

Here's what she likes..

purple
jewlery
chocolate
gummys
lip smakers

please make any suggestiong you can.

15 dollars is lots! I used to be limited at $5.

Even with a five dollar limit, I still impressed my recipient.

This is what I did:

I bought a big Chrismassy glass beer mug from the dollar store.
At the dollar store, I also picked out some neat stuff any 7th grader would like. Such as a little FM radio (They actually work), small chocolate bars and candies, a stick of gum, a little bottle of nail polish, some hair goodies like scrunchies and clips and I stuck 2 candy canes in there just so there's something cute sticking out. Then I arranged all the little things inside the mug so it's pretty, and wrapped it in a piece of clear wrapping stuff like a little bag, and tied it up with some fun red and green ribbons. I left a candy cane sticking out of the opening, but it's really up to you.

The girl I gave it to LOVED it. Everyone else got cheap things from Toys 'R Us and some really lame stuff from the dollar store. I think it was well worth the time of running around the dollar store.

And yes, it costed just about 5 dollars.

Make her a little gift basket. You can get small baskets at the dollar store. Buy her some purple earrings or bracelet, tome lip smakers, gummies, and then buy some good quality chocolate to round it out, like a small box of Godiva, or Dove chocolates. Wrap the whole thing in purple cellophane with purple ribbon.

Give her a nice necklace and then put everything in a basket. You can buy the basket at the dollar store. You can put in a purple lining with tissue paper and add lip smakers, chocolate, and gummys. The smakers, chocolate and gummys will be gone...but the necklace will last forever.

Be sure to write her a really nice card to let her know how wonderful she is. Write her a poem. Put a personal touch on the gift.

I would buy anything purple. Jewelry, lip smackers. You could also buy purple hair things...The Dollar Store has a wonderful variety. Then end it with a nice gift wrapped box of chocolates. Probably the kind with nuts and not that mixed fruit chocolate.

With 15 bucks you could make a cute little 'gift basket' for her......you've already got a list of her favourite things. Get creative maybe use a trendy little bag as the basket. Looks like she's got the basis of a purple princess theme going on.Get some grape smackers and gummies. Try a mall place like Claires and Ardene's they usually have grab bags of little trinkets girls love and Top it off with a fake tiara....every girl needs one of those. this way she gets all the little things she likes and you look like a thoughtful Santa.

Well during the holidays they have those little tin things, and well I know they have sets of Lip Smakers in them, maybe try getting those (around $13).... or go to Fleet Farm and get her a container of gummy worms, or bears, those are around $12. What is her fav. animal, try getting something creative, go to Claires, that's what I did for a christmas party, I got a mood ring, glow in the dark nail polish, and a foldable bag that had penguins on it, our limit was $15 too!

Well good luck!

try to think what you would really like to get if you were interested in the same things this girl is interested in. Dont try to think of the fact that you should get her something small so that you can get something bigger. Be the better person and get her something that you know would make you happy if you got it.

since the idea of Secret Santa is that NO ONE knows who got what for whom, don't worry about going to the Dollar Store. It is the THOUGHT that counts.

Gummys covered in chocolate in a pastic bag tied with a purple bow. It combines gummys, chocolate, and the color purple. It is also under $15. Estimated price is $3-4 at the most.

Buy a pack or two of gummys, maybe the bears and the worms?? It's up to you.

*Next get a package of choclate, melt it, and then dip the gummys in it.

**Next get a plastic bag (the type you wrap christmas gifts in sometimes) and then finish it off with tieing it with a purple bow.
