I am in college and I work but my mom still pays a majority of my expenses. I want to get her something nice for Christmas but it feels silly buying her something with money she gave me. Last year I made her cookies and it seemed to go over well but I don't want to do the same thing again. Anyone have a suggestion for me?

Make her dinner or breakfast in bed. Give her a picture of the two of you and put it in a nice frame.

Spending a special day with your Mom and your Mom only will show her that you appreciate her whole-hearted support.

You can book a nice restaurant for you and her on Christmas Eve. If you know her favourite restaurant, it would be perfect. Take her out on that day, accompany her anywhere she wants to go. Then have a nice dinner with her. Talk to her about anything she wants.

If you still feel that something is missing, a bouquet of flowers for her or a Christmas card will fill in the gap.

Wouldn't it be wonderful for a Mom to enjoy a special occasion with her beloved daughter?

I’m sure your Mom will love that because you are the most special gift to her :)

Another "craft" of some sort. You could make ornaments. They have kits at craft stores if you don't have any ideas. Another thing I make for bridal showers is I type up my favorite recipes and put them in a 3 ring binder (decorated of course!) as a cookbook. You can learn to knit a scarf in a week, especially with those "looms" for knitting. Good Luck!

Hmm. Have you tried chores? Show up one morning and clean her house top to bottom, **** and span. That'll will the warmth of her heart and will not cost you anything short of cleaning supplies!

LOL! Apparently Yahoo thought I was making a reference above to a derogatory remark often applied to people of Spanish ancestry.

You could give ger a certificate to a spa so she could relax, if she likes to read a book giftcard, you could also give her a giftcard to go out to her favorite resturant.

God Bless

I would say to give her a half heart necklace so you would have 1 half she would have the other. So anytime she looks at it she'll remember you
