Why???

I have been dating a girl for a year but last week we broke up and haven't spoken since. I don't think we will get back together. However I still care for her deeply as a person but I am not in love with her. Therefore the thought of her being alone on Valentine's day makes me sick to my stomach and I want to send her a gift without sending her the wrong message. What should I do?
Please advice.

ok, so me and my boyfriend are always just like kinda mad at each other for some strange reason.and we'd ignore each other at times,and then at the end of the day,we end up saying sorry and stuff..but we really like each other alot.and tomorrow's valentine's day.and today didn't end up so good.we had a little argument and we weren't able to fix it before the day was over.and we're only 15 years old. so..it's not like a biiiiiig thing.but still.and what if he didn't get me anything for valentine's day? and i have something for him...what should i do if i show up with a bunch of stuff tomorrow and he has nothing? and what's the best solution about this whole 'always arguing thing'??please help! i'm new to boyfriends and stuff..but we've been going out for a long time.only that he's my first ever bf.

Hello! This is my first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. We've been together for 8 months, and I love him with every bone in me. Bad thing is, I don't know what to get him! I don't know if I should just make a card and put a love letter in it, or make him cookies, or just buy him something? I need a guys advice.. I don't wanna be soo cheesy either. AHH help!

I think it should be the thought, not the gift that counts. However my step grandmother [now deceased] took a wellmade silk rose bouquet I made her & threw it in the trash while telling me I should've bought her something instead! So what do u think? Store, homemade?
