just a curiousity as 2 wat u lovely lucky people did/bought 4 ur partners on valentines day and wat ur patners did/bought 4 u?
oh and how long u have been with each other couse how long u have been 2geva also plays apart in wat u do.
i been with my bf 6months we spent the day 2geva, he wouldnt let me do nething he made me breakfast in bed, dinner brought lovely strawberries at which he made a heart out of on the plate, he made me tea all day. i woulda done more 4 him but he wouldnt let me i made him a card (i didnt like it so also bought him1) and bought him chocs from thorntons.

My husband is overseas. My friend's guy friend bought her something and he got me something too. I know he didn't mean it to be bad. I think he felt bad that my husband was gone and that he was getting something for my friend. He didn't want me to feel left out. Now my husband is really really upset. He started yelling at me saying why did you except it. And you need to call and yell at him and tell him never to give you something again! Did I do something wrong? I understand that my husband is jealous, but I don't think it's my fault. What should I do? Should I yell at this guy even though he was just trying to be nice?

You make a candy at christmas and Valentimes day , it is called peppermint Nougat..could you please make it for St.pat's day ,Easter and all the other holidays..it is wonderful...

I'm upset today. I didn't let it get to me yesterday. I'm officially 39, as of Valentine's Day and my b/f of 4 yrs got me 1 rose & 3 cards. That was it. He made it into a game. I found the last card & "gift" aka, the rose, in the car. He says he had to shop 3 stores to find the "perfect" cards. ($10 worth) Every yr he's taken his 3 kids shopping for his x wife's b-day (jan 18, were same age now). The kids get to pick out one card for her each & a gift each. I got a rose & 3 cards. He asked me what I thought of it...duh! It took all I oould do NOT to cry! He said it was the best he could do with out having a lot of money. (the guy just spent $200 on his son's 18th b-day, leaving him $100 for two weeks) I asked him for a gift wrapped in ribbons & bows. For him to take me dancing for my birthday. I found $10 in lottery tickets this morn in his car door & take out food from his lunch yesterday. He's eaten out every day this week. But he had NO money for my birthday/Valentines day gift?

I believe Valentines along with Mother and Fathers' days are a rip-off. Apart from being extremely commercial, I feel if you can't show you love to partner/mother/father and buy little gifts anytime of the year, then don't bother for the one day of the year you are told you should. Especially when prices for flowers etc are inflated. Your view?!?

My boyfriend (32) did not get me (27) anything for Valentines, and he didn't even excuse himself. He took me to dinner to his friends restaurant, were the check was taken care off by this same friend. It made me happy because "we" saved money! I had personally bought tickets online to see the 10:10pm show of "Music and Lyrics." But after dinner we head over to his house, and wait for the movie to start. Meanwhile, his taking care of his things without realizing that I am bored, and would rather him to take care of it in his own time. He doesn't get it! I took this time to give him his gifts ($120.00) hoping that he would do the same after I was done, but he didn't. We then go to the movies, come back home, and he has his friend come over. They are talking and at this point is 2am and I am tired from the night before (we went to sleep about the same time) I am upset at this point, but don't make it obvious, went to sleep without having any sex. He was upset...I am upset, geese! NO GIFT
