Well i dont know what to get my boyfriend for valentines day and its comming up in like 15 days. and right after valentines day it would be ten months of dating. Now i don tknow what to get him, he already knows what he's getting me. I dont have much money but i want to get him something. Is there anyidea on what to get him?

he have it everything: cloths, watch, eletronics.... and he's like giving me jewelry, eletronics, cloths, lotions... parfum...
and im like "i saw this nice shirt he prolly gonna like it...." but im not sure.

I think its the lamest excuse for a 'holiday' EVER. I've never celbrated it, I've never bought my significant other anything on it, and I never would want anyone that expected me to.

The way I look at it, if I need a specific day to show my love the my love is nothing but a show. I would rather bring home flowers, or chocolates, or dinner reservations.. on any other day in the year when its not expected of me by society. That, to me, is a more realistic showing of affection and love.

Am I alone in this? It seems I am for the most part?

I need gift ideas for my husband. He's a typical country boy-- not necessarily a red neck, but an outdoor loving, tractor driving, cow loving man. He works as a carpentar during the week and hangs out in the fields and the woods on the weekend. He doesn't hunt, smoke or drink.

Okay, my 16th birthday is in August, about a week before school starts. In the past, everyone was plans for one final vacation that weekend. It kinda sucks for me.
But....I have absolutly no idea what to do for a party. How many people to invite? When? Where? Theme? Ect, Ect?
I have four really close friends that I want to do something really special with. But then I have some people from school who I still want to invite. I have NO idea and I'm the first of all my friends to turn 16, so I have no ideas whatsoever.

If its OK to get drunk off Baileys and Guinness on St. Patricks Day (even though its in the middle of Lent), and its OK to get Drunk off Corona and Tequila on Cinco de Mayo, why is it so offensive to get drunk off Malt Liquor and Blast Hip Hop on MLK Birthday? And would it be less offensive to get drunk off Red Stripe, Harar Stout, Tedj and other remotely Black-owned beverages?

I have got the main pressie sorted, just want some other ideas/suggestions as ive seen some really funky ideas already.
I find it really hard to shop for lads, regardless what occasion or relation. Basically im on a tight budget (sounds harsh i know) but im living away with him and his family and i cant get a job here (Singapore) so i need some assistance (ideas wise)!!!

My boyfriend and I have decided not to celebrate Valentine's Day because our one-year-anniversary is ten days later on the 24th so we decided to celebrate everything that day. The only thing we're doing for Valentine's is going out with my parents on the 16th (everywhere is too packed the day of Valentine's and it will also be their 22nd wedding anniversary). I'm just worried that he may get me something on Valentine's anyway and I won't have anything for him. So, I was thinking, he's a huge Georgia Tech fan (and I could get him a little teddy bear with the logo or Buzz on it with a card and maybe a rose, just in case, and if he doesn't get me anything I could just keep it and give it to him on our anniversary. Good idea, too corny, or should I just not worry about getting anything until the anniversary?
