Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥
Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here ya go:
http://scripts.lovingyou.com/mdb/search.cgi?mdb=ideas&cat=vday
It helped me come up with some ideas and stuff.
Check it out!

As an army wife I can relate to your problem. Order her something on line. You know unexpected flowers or cards or chocolate are very romantic. Call her right as she wakes up in the morning. Your voice will be the first thing she hears that day! E-Mail her a card. If she's the type to check her mail on a regular basis this works too. Write a nice little note in about how you're thinking of her. Remember she loves you to and understands why you can't be there. Thanks for a job well done.

My husband's been deployed since January 29, 2006. Last Valentines I got a really cool bonsai tree and then for Christmas a black pearl necklace from Qatar. I was really surprised by the bonsai tree since we have a tradition of not giving gifts for Valentines.

He desires that greater beneficial than something, so make sure he's familiar with of he has that each and every day.

Write her a letter that lists 100 reasons why you love her. with it send her some pictures of you over there. Order something pretty to go with all of it, www.overstock.com has some cool stuff that she will love. If you are able to burn a cd over there, make one of songs that remind you of her. Good luck!

Go AWOL..that will be the best present ever!
But seriously..order her a dinner complete with gourmet foods she likes and wines and dessert. Send her a movie and a card that tells her you wish you are there with her in heart..
Diamonds aren't too shabby either..

The only thing she wants is you. If you sing fairly well .. a video of you singing to her, dancing for her or a heartfelt video of any kind will have her in tears saying god I love him. Send it and have a family member deliver it with a hug meant from you to her.
