Im a little late on this one but, Monday I came across someone who thought that Martin Luther King's JR Birthday was a stupid Federal Holiday and shouldnt be one... I almost had a fet but let me ask you guys do you agree, and you think this lady was being racists?????

I'm looking for creative, self-made Valentine's Day gift ideas in case I would get a writer's block and wouldn't be able to come up with a personal love poem. Please, don't refer me to websites because I've already browsed through all the personal gift sites. Last year I gave him a love letter in the bottle and a voucher for personal treats. So when you give your ideas keep in mind that he's the One, though we're not engaged yet and that I want to make the gift myself. Thanks for your tips!

Example: we "celebrate" labor and hard work by having a holiday on the first Monday in September, yet Valentine's Day is just another day at the office.

in Savannah st patricks is a big deal and i usually have like 20 people staying at my house for 3-4 days. i will be supplying some of the liquor but not enoguh for that many days/people, how can i ask in my invite (in very few words) for people to bring their fav liquors without it sounding like BYOB.
