Fraiser and others should note that they've listed St Patricks Day. I think it is appalling that they don't list other patron saints days.

It is probably because St Patricks is for some reason more popular and celebrated more widely (it is celebrated all over the uk, america and australia to name a few).

Maybe they should have a Patron Saint catagory.

St Georges day is not a holy day - it is a national saints day. Unlike the other saints days - Patrick etc it is not classed as a holiday and that is probably the reason why it's not listed.

Think it may be due to one big reason
Since it is an American company, there is no knowledge that it is important to a good many users. St. Patrick's as someone noted is more widely known.
Perhaps there is a way to suggest the inclusion of various holidays. If someone can help on that it would be appreciated.

Because Yahoo is mostly a US company and if they listed every holiday from every country that uses their service, they'd run out of room in their small database.

If I don't get the day off of work for St. George's Day, then it doesn't really matter.

It isn't a holy day at all, it is a national saints day.

EDIT:

I'm just stating a fact...I don't need to note anything.
