We always tend to have a game of charades for those who don't know this it is a miming game and you have to act out films, books, tv programes etc.. by actions not words. Very amusing after a few glasses of bucks fizz.

Is it fading into the background. Millions of people gave the ultimate sacrifice and many more lived in appaling conditions and yet hardly anything seems to happen. Yes we all wear poppies and have remebrance sunday and lay wreaths but appart from this its nothing, not everyone wears poopies, its just a yearly thing and often the silence is forgotten. Do we need to do more to remeber them cause I'm sure we do much less than they deserve and ignore it for the rest of the year. I know it was a long time ago but there are still wars today. What do you think?

I've often wondered if this is strictly a Canadian tradition -one with which I whole-heartedy agree and enjoy. Are we the only country that does this? Nov.11 is Rememberance day in Canada, lest we forget
