you don't have to celebrate anything at all. besides it was originally a Pagan Holiday the Christians " took over " ( among others ) in order to make it easier to convert the Pagans to their Christian ideas. if you want to find out more try reading the book, " Pagan Christmas " which will explain where a lot of the traditions and ideas of celebration actually came from.

These days, Christmas isn't really about God anymore. It's become commercial and is full of advertising and greed. If you don't like it, don't celebrate it. I used to really hate it, but have come to make it something more meaningful to myself. It's about family and friends. I'm not heavy into gift giving anymore. If anything, I like to bake and will give away some baked goods instead of spending money I don't have. Christmas is what you feel in your heart - make it something special to you. If others don't like it - too bad for them!

Christmas is actually becoming more secular these days and that is a good thing. Christmas does not have to be a god holiday. You can make it a holiday for family and sharing and for Winter.

Well, who said you have to celebrate? Tell everyone you won't be participating this year forward. Don't accept any presents, don't buy any presents. Be an all around scrooge for at least 2-3 years in a row and no one will bother with you for the rest of your life.

wow! well I would like to know how you got here on this earth if you don't believe in God he is our Creator.AND for Christmas well there is no real date in the Bible where it says that Jesus was born on Dec 25 it just says it was in the winter time.Christmas is a time for giving not receiving. To make a bit more stress free christmas for you ,maybe you should buy gift certificates for your friends and relatives ,easier on you and it will make them happy.

Nobody is telling you that you have to celebrate. I too am very leary of Christmas anymore. In my family it has become a greedy present event with no love involved. It is too bad that people can't be happy without a gift to prove it. IDo what you want and not what society tells you!

I have always hated Christmas. There`s too much stress in all aspects of it. I try to do my best for my children because I`m all they have.

First of all Christmas is a pagan holiday and guess what?
You know those ball ornaments on the tree? In Rome where "christ-mas" originated the balls represented the...um... testicles of the god Baccas. God Is real too. If he didn't exist then who created us? And don't tell that monkey evolving stuff. tell even if we did come from them, who created THEM???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
