I have been a bloody bride, car accident victem, bloddy prom queen, angel of death, pregnant with a baby coming out of my abdomen with a knife in it's hands. I don't want to be a vampire though!! I also dont want to spend $40 bucks on a costume that everyone will have..but I'm just not sure. Help!!!!

I'm talking about all the mushy, Norman Rockwell type of things you see in the tv and in movies. You know like sitting in front of the yule log, kissing under the missletoe, drinking egg nog until you past out, etc.. All the while all of those traditional x-mas songs playing in the background: Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...

Am I the only one whose missing out? Don't get me wrong I celebrate x-mas with my family being brought up christian and all. But because I'm not white, its just well different (think of your christmas but with a latin twist).

For once I want to know what is like to experience x-mas without hearing a salsa version of white christmas lol....

Well since I have to ask a question: What are your christmas' like?

Background info: my son 11 and hi friends (4 girls and 3 other boys) are going trick-or-treating as old-fashond individuals. he and a girl (who I think is the cutest girl in the bunch) wanted to switch roles and we saw no probblem with this. We being myself and the girls Mother.
And to that mater I haven't a clue to the world about how to dress him, or for that matter what to dress him in, if any one can help I need to know where to find the sutable apparel, or patterns, or advice if you have done something to this sort before.

Hi! I'm about to turn 16 in a just a few days. I recently moved rom Denver to Edmonton and, I don't have many freinds. I skipped grade 9, So I went into Canadian high school a year early. I only know a few people that I am comfortable letting into my house. I wanted to know if Any of you had any Idea what kind of a birthday party I should have. I was thiking of having a Sushi and Anime themed one, since most of the people are interested in anime, and sushi =3 I also considerd having a Halloween based one but, I'm sort of having a small halloween party with my kid cousin and a few of her freinds (babysitting with flair).
