My dad's family is very large and we have the 'Chinese Christmas' were everyone brings a present and you pick an number, and go in order picking out presents or you can choose a present already opened. It's alot of fun.

Well, one year I got a massager, but it didn't work. Another year I got a 12 volt car vacuum that was so weak it wouldn't clean anything. And another year I got a fingernail clipper set. Needless to say, I've come out on the short end most years.

Oh well, we have fun and that's all that really counts.

i forgot specifically what they were. but i remember in 2004, i got quite a couple of items that i personally would not buy. i know i sound unappreciative but i feel sad because it sort of reflect how much my friends understand me.

things took a good turn in 2005, when i liked what i receive. i am not sure what changed it - perhaps i was less critical or fussy, or perhaps they happened to pick out the right gifts.

i think i will get many thumbs down for this answer....lol

I had a miscarriage on Christmas Day when my oldest daughter was about 6 months old. That was the worst one I ever had. I would have loved that baby too.

the worst Christmas present I ever got was when no one showed up for Christmas dinner after I had spend many hours preparing it. I mean no one and I am a vegetarian. Yes I made the whole traditional turkey dinner. I took it downtown and gave it to the homeless. They loved it and I loved to see the smiles on their faces.

Oh man's that's cold.

I was in my late 20s my aunt was having a few mental problems and gave me a six foot stuffed monkey handpuppet. My older brother laughed hysterically because that was it , nothing more.

I was not a happy camper, however four years later she gave him a set of reddy fox books that you'd give a four or five year old , he was in his late 30s at the time. I laughed at him.

Well my best friend tried to make me a sweater...it was four times too big and very ugly. I still wear it around the house on cold evening though.
