How much do you spend on your spouse or mate?

I always give my kids 3 presents, because that is what Jesus was given. They would get one big one(something they wanted), one needed item(something I wanted them to have) and one "just for fun" item. I always felt it was enough considering how much they would also get from relatives and friends. I wanted them to remember what Christmas was all about................Jesus.
Cost was probably around $100.00 each....my husband, maybe $ 150.00....he is a little harder to shop for.

None. It's Jesus's birthday, not theirs. They've known that all their lives and accept it, and on their birthdays, I spend on them. I bought each of them a nice new car on their birthdays a year or two ago, with extended warranties and insurance for two years. And my wife gets a whole lot more than that throughout the year. But on Christmas Day, we honor and worship Jesus, and the gifts go to Him. God Bless you.

too much... used to be about $500 to $600 for each of my three kids. Now that I am divorced I spend about $200 for each and they dont mind and understand. I have great kids

Well on my kids i spend aprox 150.00 eatch and on my spouse/boyfriend, not exactly sure, depends on the present, probally about the same amount.

On our son me and my husband spend about 1,500 to about 2,000 and he's a four year old. On each other we just buy a bag of some green and share it with our whole family.

In our family, presents doesnt really matter but we tend to give them a tiny gift. We mainly celebrate Jesus's birth and we have big feast with families and friends

well, last year i spent about 120 dollars for the whole family. i tried to get things that were on sale, but somethings just weren't.
for my cousin, a boy, i bought him a computer game which was about 20 dollars.
