Why is it that in alot of answers I read ..................?

there are people who are accusing someone with a black picture or avatar of being white? I know this is sometimes true because it's obvious, but it's also true that white people are not the only racists. As someone from both European and African descent I am all too familiar with the fact that there are also black people who are racist and act just as hateful and childish as white racists.

My question is very clear. I want to know why so many people accuse whites on this forum of using black avatars [which to me is an indication that alot of people think whites are the only people who do this and that whites are the only racists].

I am 5'3. I really like this girl who's my very close friend. She's 5 inches smaller than me, but currently dating a guy who's 6'2, and seems to be into tall guys. She doesn't know how I feel. Where do other people stand on this? Am I too short?

The only reason people become racist is because they might have a bad experience with one or two people and just generalize and assume that because other people have similar "racial" background that they act the same. The unfair part is that they don't judge people within their race like that, they see them as individuals. Why can't some people mature and follow the simple phrase "Don't judge a book by it's cover". Don't be so shallow:)

It almost seems like white girls would rather dance all over another girl instead of dancing with a guy. On the other hand, I rarely see two black girls dancing together. It appears that they would rather not dance at all if it's not with a guy.

Well,
I am mixed black who grew up only around white people. When I got to college, many blacks isolated me and stared me down at the same time. I was able to rise above and win many of those who were trying to outcast me previously, as friends. Now, I have a white male I'm kind of seeing. I went to the movies with him the other day, and I saw a group of black people who have mixed feelings towards me, there. They called my name, and when I looked up and smiled, they just shook their heads. Now, I don't care if they don't approve of what I'm doing, but I feel they should either ignore me completely or acknowledge me respectfully. How would you handle this situation?

I am not picky about race. I am picky about class. It is not a Mexican thing, African American thing, Arab thing, etc. It is about the way people behave and the way society views them.

I do not discriminate against color because I have seen all colors act in an unclassy way. It is also not about money. I see people who live with little to nothing and still respect what they have and do not feel as if they are owed anything. On the other hand, I see people with money to blow who act with little to no class and feel that they are owed everything.

Low class exists despite culture and the amount of money in your bank account. It's easy to classify it as being racist. I am not racist. If you sit next to me at a light and invade my space with your music, whether it is Mexican music, Rap, Country and whether you are in a '92 Cadillac or an '07 BMW, I will not think highly of you.

It is a class issue. Do you agree?

I just said men were thick and everyone started complaining, I said something negative about gay people and everyone started complaining but they weren't comments designed to pick on a certain group, they were just general opinions but they weren't really meant to offend people. You can't use bad words because they get starred by Yahoo but they don't take off offensive questions like: Why is a Muslim like a Woman's Vagina?

People think they can make really offensive jokes about Muslims and many people answer, 'nice one' although thank you to the decent people who disagree with it, if you actually met and knew some Muslims you would be ashamed because most of us are normal people with feelings (!) Well not me persoanlly I don't have none but other Muslims do.

I wasn't always an Anglophile but my last name is Irish so I guess that my ancestors had to be British! As an average American I grew up thinking that Brits were arrogant and always looking down at people less fortunate then themselves.

When I first say King Ralph I was horrified at how the Brits would treat an American born King of all England. Just because Americans don't like British things like cricket!

But anyway, after seeing Elizabeth Hurley in Austin Powers I have become a devoted Anglophile and would like to meet a girl like her. I have all of the Austin Powers movies and would like to know where is the best place to live in the United States for an Anglophile?

I would like to marry a British girl and am interested to know what the most popular baby names are for the British? I have seen the movie Great Expectations and was thinking that a great name to identify a child with a British family would be, Pip.
