Unless you actually take time to monitor such things, I don't think most people notice. There are so many questions on Yahoo Answers that many of them probably just get ignored.
If you saw a surge of racist remarks, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, tensions may have risen over the illegal immigration debate that's currently taking place. God help us if we don't keep a cool head.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness should be remembered by Americans as the foundation on which the United States was built. When we look back at 2007 on New Year's Day months from now, let's hope this year will not include regrets in our hearts over bigotry in America.

People tend to get cranky towards the end of the weekend and the thoughts of going to work the next morning cause them to turn to the dark side. It's not because they are racist, they are human. Compare answers from people on a Friday night to see what I mean.

I can only think of a few things:
1) The cable must be out
2) Maybe people are mourning the fact that the Sopranos will no longer be on the air (sad, ain't it?)
3)The Stormfront website must be temporarily down for repairs.
Personally, I blame El Nino.

1) When things go wrong in life who is to blame, I guess there are some people that can not look in the mirror and say well I screwed up. They have to blame someone else.
2) Their Grandparents believed it, their parents believed it so like good little ignorant folk they believe it.

Because the tots are out of school, and the other nutjobs are off of work.
That, and they just came home from their White Citizens Council meetings, so they have a renewed sense of faux-badassery.
