I just said men were thick and everyone started complaining, I said something negative about gay people and everyone started complaining but they weren't comments designed to pick on a certain group, they were just general opinions but they weren't really meant to offend people. You can't use bad words because they get starred by Yahoo but they don't take off offensive questions like: Why is a Muslim like a Woman's Vagina?
People think they can make really offensive jokes about Muslims and many people answer, 'nice one' although thank you to the decent people who disagree with it, if you actually met and knew some Muslims you would be ashamed because most of us are normal people with feelings (!) Well not me persoanlly I don't have none but other Muslims do.

Don't get wrong I don't mind jokes however offensive, I have heard some pretty brilliant jokes that happen to be racist, sexist, homophobic whatever but I just didn't like to be compared to a woman's you know what!!
Bloody hell, how much can I relax, if I relax any more I will be horizontal. I have an Irish neighbour and he said the Irish were the first Pakis in Britain and we were howling with laughter about that! Not offended easily just questioning who exactly runs this site. My guess: a gay Jewish man, got to be.

It isn't alright, and you are right to ask the question.
I saw that "joke" but didn't dignify it with an answer.
There is a fine line between valid observation and offensive comments, but the stupids who make jokes like that can't see it. They think that those of us who say that joke's offensive don't want them to be able to say anything at all about men, gays, Muslims, whoever.
There's nothing wrong with jokes, but if they are based on untrue stereotypes and intended to belittle people, I think the line has been crossed.

It is NEVER okay trust me..and that question, why is a muslim like a woman's vagine, funny thing, rightbefore i came to answer this question, i reported that question. so you see...its not okay. No jokes shjould be offensive at all...if someone can only think of offensive jokes, and then they really do not have creativity at all. Anyone can type in a joke here thats not sexually related, or religion, or offensive in anyway. People are just immature. and you shouldnt be making offensive comments about gays or men. i dont know what u mean by men were thick but whatever. just cuz someone else does something wrong, doesnt make it okay when you do it.
2 wrongs don't make a right.

There are 3 billion men on this planet, and you have just said that they are all "thick". At best that is foolish. At worst its just ridiculous AND offensive.
People will make jokes about whatever subject they please, offensive or not. Welcome to the human race.
As to why there are offensive jokes about Muslims, I refer to you the extremist tactics of the Muslim fundamentalists who say it is OK to kill anybody that isn't "Muslim" enough... that might have something to do with it. There are jokes about Christians, Jews, homosexuals, the Irish, the Polish, the Italians, the French... making fun of others is a part of human nature. Offensive jokes make me cringe, so I usually just ignore them, and do NOT laugh at them.

I think humor is a great thing and people take everything way too serious these days. People need to lighten up!!!! I think it's OK to make tasteless jokes about anything imaginable, as long as your not usuing as a way to mask your own prejudice. Laughter helps us deal with stress and hopelessness the same way as crying helps us deal with grief.

Jokes should be treat as jokes. Any race/culture will always be the but of jokes, sometimes its not the racism that is funny just the way its put. I for one laugh at something if its funny. I don't care if its about irish/english/muslim/gay/men/women.

As to the first answer, I dont't suppose gays passing aids around to the entire world is killing people. Ever think about it that way. Oh yeah, Ted Bundy was a homosexual. What did he go to jail for. That's right, KILLING his homosexual sex partneers and eating their flesh. Guess you missed that one.
Now back to the question, why is it okay to make distasteful comments about Christians, ban our God and our ability to pray to Him, and hateful comments toward us. The only form of legal HATE CRIMES now is Christian bashing.
I personaly believe that ever group has their good ones and their bad ones. I personaly know several muslims and they do not walk around talking about killing us infidels. I know several homosexuals that are relatively good people considering their lifestyle. Not sure what to say about the subject of MEN, take them on a case by case basis. LOL
See, I can use a little levity in my answers too.

Alfonze H you did make me laugh, I love a person who speaks his mind.
In my life there are men and women anything in between such as race, creed, colour is immaterial.
If the attitude is bad then I do not want it near me.

It is never alright to do that to anyone, unfortunately human nature allows us to do some horrible things for some reason. It would be a lot better if we all got to know each other better an accepted evryone for what they are, fellow human beings trying to live their lives.
