Can you tell me truthfully, what does a Scotsman wear under his kilt? i've hear rumors that they are bare under there. I am an inncoent American lady who is just interested in dress of other countries.

It's bare under there. I'm sure you could wear underwear if you want, but it's supposed to be bare.

I don`t know if all do not wear underwear, but I have seen photos of skirts flying up in breeze and nothing on under the Kilt. It would be interesting to know the reason behind this practice.

I am an American of Scottish decent and when I wear mine, I usually have nothing on underneath.
