How many of you think racism is funny and stupid?

I love pushing racists buttons because its so funny. I love getting them all hot and bothered while I laugh.Tell me what you think.

I believe its funny to me because I have been brown my whole life and I am used to it where I can just brush it off.I believe I have a gift to get under anybodys skin because we are all human and we all love our mamas.

Thanks to the smart people who really get the question.For the dumb people this is what I mean.I dont support racism, I toy with racists.Minorities should not get mad at racists, we should laugh and have fun with them,because we all know racism is ignorance.

First of all, the word racism has to be one of the most overused and biggest words taken out of context. There are different degrees of racism, particularly involving tone and intent. So it's not only what you say but moreover how you say it.

I see the duality in what you're saying, but I guess my only point would be that by doing what you're proposing, you're lowering yourself to their level and therefore lowering your standards in order to raise theirs.

In the end the best revenge is living well. Finally I disagree with your assertion that racism is a one sided affair. I know plenty of minorities who are reverse racists and exhibit racists tendencies, but delude themselves into thinking that what they're doing and saying is ok, simply because they themselves are a minority. It's not and they have lulled themselves to sleep on the notion that they haven't created a double standard when in fact they have. Don't you fall prey to the same trap either.

Be smarter and better than that. You'll respect yourself and the good people around you a lot more in the end for having done so.

It isn't without it's comedic merit, but it's really sad too.

My mother wasn't fond of my last girlfriend simply because she was white. Despite the fact that she had every other quality that my mom would have wanted my g/f to have.
I'm an adult so it's not like it was crippling the relationship but it was upsetting.

Still my mother grew up during the civil rights movement in Memphis TN, and she has always distrusted the white people because of some of the things she experienced when she was growing up.
Knowing the why does not justify it but here's an otherwise really great woman whose mind is poisoned because of a select group of people at a select time.

As a Darwinist, I fully support making fun of stupid people. But with the exception of Archie Bunker from "All in the Family," I don't think anyone has been able to pull off racism as being funny.

The world will be a better place more quickly, though, if we start making fun of such people. I truly believe that most of the world's problems come from fools being taken seriously. So by all means, ridicule the intolerant, with my blessing.

racism is hilarious, and when you argue with racist people they get frustrated because they can never give a logical answer to why they are racist. some of them believe in god but want to stay segregated from other races. even in the bibles it says we are all gods children. Who keeps brothers and sisters seperate? lol

The kind you see on here is funny. The kind that Channon Christian, Christopher Newsom and James Byrd experienced is not funny at all and likely to start bigger problems.

It's stupid, all right--but I haven't found one single thing about it funny. Call it a lack of a sense of humor, but the thought of killing and discriminating against anyone just because of the color of their skin fails to put a smile on my face.
