A year ago I used to have long and straight hair down to the middle of my back. I used to get alot of attention from guys and they used to say stuff like "oh you have some good hair" and some of them would just look at my hair and would want to go out with me. Well, I cut my hair and I'm natural rigth now(which means I don't use a relaxer) and I don't recieve the same attention from men anymore, instead they say stuff like "you look ugly just like those Africans" or "You need a comb" I get harrassed everyday because of my hair and I'm ignoring now. I find it funny that they would think that I'm so sexy wiht my hair one day and then think i'm ugly. What do you think about this?

why do people feel they have to be mean to other people? i dont understand. we are all human. but why do certain people think they are so much better then us? even on yahoo answers, people are mean in their answers. in school people are mean. not directly to me, but all around. i dont get. we are all equals. help me understand!!

I'm just wondering how they get to work and get benefits even though they aren't in danger in their own countries so they aren't Asylym seekers. This is by no means racist, it just interests me how other countries aren't let into the U.k. unless they have £1000's in their bank account and won't claim any benefits.

My brother moved in with a black woman. She grew up in the hood and had nothing. My family tried to help. We got her her first car, we paid for her college (she did not attend), they lived in an upper middle class neighborhood. According to her family she was rich. She racked up thousands of $'s in debt she could not pay, she did not work, she spent most of her time in the hood. Fast forward, 3 kids later, she had enough of the lifestyle. My mother is now taking care of all 3 kids. WHY IN MOST BLACK FAMILIES DO THE GRANDPARENTS TAKE THE KIDS? My brother is scum for not taking kids either. Now the mother charges my mother to watch her own kids!!!!! My mother does it because she know the kids will be neglected if she does not raise them. From my intemate view of he family and friends, they are all in debt, they all dont hold jobs well, they all pawn their kids off, nobody aims to be better. This is truly a call for compassionate conversation, not for racist scum to intrude upon..

I dont get it, we are all on the same island while the dominicans are mixed of Black,White and Indian and the other side which is haiti are just of pure western African unmixed ancestry, why couldn't we be both mixed, we live right next to each other so
i dont get it, in class dominicans say "im black and spanish", im haitian and i have to say just African, i see no native american blood in me or european in me so what is going on here?!!!!!

I sometimes talk to people with accents from another country. What happens is they talk and I can't understand them so i keep saying "what?". eventually after awhile they have to point to things, draw pictures, or wright it out. its really ambarassing.

Criticisms and objections have arisen regarding this movie. Certain parties allege that it is "cultural and psychological warfare." That it doesn't depict certain individuals and groups of people in a good light.

Can't there be any movies that just tell a story as it is: plain and simple? Or will people always interpret them as derogatory or negative toward certain individuals?

The British founded America, so why don't Americans have a British accent? I heard a professor say on the radio that back then the British didn't have the present day British accent and instead sounded like Americans. Is that true?

News flash hot off the presses.......Everyone is not the same!

Every black, white, latino(a), asian, native american, middle eastern person is not the same. Why judge people based on some stupid crap you hear on tv, radio, tabloids, or even the news (tv news is still biased)?

Why the hell are people so uptight when they hear race or nationality or religion jokes? I'm Jewish, i hear Jewish jokes and i laugh, i'm Italian, i hear Italian jokes and guess what?.... i laugh. When an uptight douch hears an Jewish, Italian, Irish joke, they tell me to go to hell... People really have to learn how to get a sense of humor.
