oh well some haitians can be slightly mixed, but most are at least 75% black. Why is it different?
because dominican republic was owned by spain, the spanish mixed more in them as opposed to the french.

your afro-dominican, in all latin american countries, most people are mixed, followed by white, native and black, the percentage of people of mostly black descent in dominicans are higher than most spanish places, actually.

like such as you see most latinos look metizo, but a few are pure native, white or black. well you might just fall in that category then.

Nope majority of Dominicans are black and Whites are a minority and the Taino were basically wiped out this is why they brought African slaves to the Caribbean in the First place.

Look at Dominican sports stars like Sammy Sosa, Vladmir Guerrero, Alfonso Soriano, Robinson Cano, Jose Reyes, Manny Ramirez, Pedro Martinez, Miguel Tejada and many more. Robinson Cano was named after Jackie Robinson and Sammy Sosa admitted he was black in an interview with Tony Dandrades on National tv after his bleaching skin incident on Univision.
