Is this just another sad example of how our society is just concernd with appearance and not substance. It's the same mentality that gives kids trophys for just showing up. Too bad.

Is this affirmative action or discrimination against mediocrity?

Better yet, an obese white guy and a average sized white women go in for a job. The chick gets it. Is this AA or discrimination against fat people?

How will we ever know why we REALLY got the job?

I have just came back from Stockholm,Sweden and was surprised to see that all Swedes in Stockholm can speak good English.Besides,I am so glad to meet very helpful and polite Swedes there.My question is,what makes you feel that learning English as a second language is important?Is there anything to do with your government policies?My other question is why are you so helpful with foreigners,who maybe live there or simply on vacation?Sweden rockzzz!!

People say that islam is a peaceful religion.isnt it more likely for a muslim to commit terrorism than any other religion?if you are muslim arent you more likely to be persuaded into terrorism?So isnt islam a gateway to terrorism...kinda like how people say that marijuana is a gateway drug to other things..if you convert to islam arent you more likely to become a terrorist that another religion?im not racist to islam im just stating the statistics

Why is it we have to be careful what we say nowadays in case it comes across as racist!?
I am from far racist, but I think it's a sorry world when we have to be careful what we say...... just incase!
Take comedians for example, they make fun of the irish, scottish and english.. but never pakistani's as there would be an uproar! ridiculous!!!!
Ive heard kids can't even say 'Black' board now.. it has to be 'chalk' board - what next??? 'black chistmas?'

Is the statement "Brazilians are good at football" just as racist as the statement "Black people commit more crime"?

How about "Black people have great rythm and know how to party"?

"The English have bad teeth" or "Muslims are intolerant of other religions"?

Racial stereotypes are based on outside observations of other races which are impossible to ignore. After all, Brazil have won 6 world cups and swedish women ARE hot. By holding such expectations of races on the basis of experience am I a racist?

Or a realist?

Should one treat all people the same and not hold prejudices based on experience?

People who hate African-Americans, Jews, women or overweight people, isn't it all discrimation, be it racial, religious or etc? If not, why do you say so? Is discriminatory speech often confused with freedom of speech? Why and why not?

I am Japanese. I watched on TV about one man succeeded in US by selling ' special sause for food'. but he said "even I succeed, end up white people become top of any kinds of genre. but I will try."
I think US's national character is cowardice, so they can be allowed to have guns. maybe US is immigration country so they try to protect theirself.
Everyone feel scary things that never know. so they can watch only one way. and its become streotype. and missunderstanding each other.
