If you really want to know why come countries hate America, there's no straightforward black-and-white answer. A lot of it is embedded in our diplomatic and political history with other countries. But to make a long story short, just know that economics controls everything and money always comes first for our government. If you research some America-hating countries, you might find that our government helped fund brutal dictators (like Saddam Hussein or the Shah of Iran in the 1980s), ignored humanitarian violations (such as Darfur), or was just a straight-up bully. Democracy and freedom is the official reason that we make for all our foreign policies, but it isn't the true reason. For example, why don't we like communism? It's not because of dictators. That's just a scapegoat. The real reason is that communism on a massive level would restrict the exploitational practices and policies that many corporations use to make profits. Think about it. If a country's industries are controlled by the government, it is a lot less likely that a large American company can do things like employing thousands of child workers for less than a dollar earning per child. Again, if you research history, you would find that we really don't make a big deal of freedom and democracy until our money is involved. I don't think that the reason that some nations dislike us is because of jealousy. Get more sophisticated and find the answer for yourself and don't just settle for the 'jealousy' explanation or what the corporate propaganda says on TV. The cardinal rule of America once again ladies and gentlemen----money controls everything, even at the expense of human life and well-being.

This "hate culture" against the U.S. is a spin-off of the Cold War of the 60's and 70's. During that time, America and Russia are deliberately spreading hate campaigns against each other, and this scheme persisted through and embedded itself to many next generation people of t he these days. The US has been always portrayed as an unwanted guest, a gate-crasher, a meddler; while the USSR was pictured as a provocateur, a saboteur, a kill'em'all entity. What is unfortunate is that the teens of those bygone days are the key movers and executives of today, and because their minds were very much trained to think in a way different from today's younger generation, the "cold war" attitude persisted up to this time; and with the dissolution of the USSR, the USA become the absorber of all the repercussions of that era.

First of all, hating somebody because of bad teeth and stupid accent or lack of hygiene is stupid and generalizing. You should reconsider your point of view because if people would estimate Americans with same pattern, that wouldn't be good for you. I have worked with some Americans and I can tell you they were very ignorant in general with very bad taste in everything and although educated, didn't had a clue pretty much about anything, basically people with very low culture in every possible way. But I still don't judge all Americans according to that, not even after I read your question now and pretty much can't believe, I still don't generalize.
Anyway, you should ask that all those people from countries that America drop bombs to their houses and killed their families. They can give you some good answers to this.

We'll, other countries hate America not because they really hate it as a whole, I guess it depends on your/their leader that represents it and with respect to foreign relations. Take Pres. George Bush as an example and I won't go any further with that. There's a saying which goes "What you sow is what you reap". If America extend's his hand for humanity, humanity will echo back to America and vice versa. It pays back my friend! If you read your question once again, you stated some obnoxious remarks against other country's people and reputation then boasts on great things you think what America has. Think it again mi amigo, mein freund, kaibigan ko and you will know the answer to your question. =)

Honey, just because you hate other countries, doesn't mean everyone in America does or that everyone in other countries hates the USA. What's up with the bad teeth and lack of hygiene remarks? Are you a spoiled and sheltered child that doesn't realize there are people in every country on different social and economic scales?

Because most Americans, not all Americans though, think that everything revolves around them and that the world ends at their borders. I have met some Americans who have held articulate political views but most just believe the crap that they are told by their big corporation controlled media. I often watch FOX news and can only say that Goebbels would have been proud of such a propoganda organ. Thhis arrogance that they are right and everyone else is wrong makes my blood boil but I must state that not all Americans are like this

I think the main reason is that they are a bit jealous. I know that we have our faults and that as a Nation we are pretty self righteous and greedy. But I think that other countries are in general a bit envious of what we have. Just like most girls will hate the spoiled, popular pretty girls in school because it seems like they have everything. So, we try to find fault with them. The other reason I think other countries hate us so much is because most of our Presidents are idiots and stick their noses in other countries affairs. They also see us as a lazy nation...which is kinda true..lol,
