Yes, sometimes it is satisfying, although not in a mean-spirited way against the person. I mean, when you see an Asian group of people who all have cameras around their necks, I don't laugh at THEM, I laugh at those who would be OFFENDED by my audacity to recognize the realization of the stereotype.

Take me for instance. Stay at home mom with two little kids who drives a mini-van. Stereotyped to the hilt. Actually my group is one of the only ones it's OK to stereotype, along with white males and Christians. Doesn't bother me, though. I'm proud of my lifestyle and don't care one whit if someone thinks I'm a cliche or laughs at me.

Political Correct thinking is thinking that denies reality. It's really very sad. As long as stereotypes are not used to discriminate against or oppress other people, what's wrong with them, especially if they're true? It's just a celebration of the variety of cultures and idiosyncrasies that we all have...that actually serve to make us unique within an ever-increasingly global society.

Those college kids were great. I loved it. I mean really, why can't we make fun of blacks when "they" Jesse Jackson types, insist upon having DIFFERENT standards and societal responsibilities.
Why the blacks in this country allow it I have no idea. You'd think that they'd have more pride.
I anticipate your letters in reply to this but, I don't mean to use such a broad brush here. BUT All of us know the name of Jessse Jackson and the honorable rev. Sharpton. So i know it's not all blacks BUT you are represented by at least those two names.
So if blacks can understand at least try to understand that once you try to segregate yourselves with your own schools, beauty pageants, and job requirements. You must be able to accept a little razzing now and then. Plus those 40 ounce bottles are getting drank by someone.

YES. It cracks me up and makes me pity the fact that they insist on being treated differently yet just do the same things that created the stereotype in the first place.
