I am a mixed person half black half white,(you can see my picture on my homepage and draw on it)and i just kinda wanted 2 know what the world thought about us?All thoughts open.OH AND 4 U MIXED PPL I just wanted to know what do you post yourself as when taking a big test ya know' like

white,etc.......and 1 more question,what do u guys call yourselves?when people in preschool asked me what color I was cuz it was almost impossible to tell,my mother would tell me to say I am cocoa sugar brown-so retarded but it worked!!!

The aftermath of hurricane katrina left the city of New Orleans in turmoil. The government response to this event was extremely slow. Many families including women and children were stranded, and to them it seemed like the government left them for dead. The majority of these people were black. Would the response been more expedient if the majority was white suburban people?

Why Is White America so Intimidated by a smart black person?
It seems as though white people expect all black people to live up to the stereotype of being uneducated, and that leaves the educated or intelligent black person to be almost completely ignored by society. I just want to know why.

i dont think anyone should have to appologize for what their ancestors did. there was no excuse for the salvery and horrible treatment of African people in colonial america. but that doesnt mean someon should expect an appology for someting that their ancestors did. and not all people with dark brown skin or people of african decent have slave ancestors. and for the people who do appologize you shoulndt have to because ti wasnt you. it is ****** up that anyone expects and appology or that anyone feels they should have to appologize for it. and in that case should all people of egyption ancestroy appologize to jewish people for having them as slaves even though it was forever ago. and i dont expect all russians and germans to appologize to me for having slavic slaves 400-500 years ago (slav is where the word slave came from by the way)

having been graced by living in the days of stable families, attending high school as the first blacks came into my school and us liking one another an awfully lot, going into the fun of the beatles, becoming a flower power hippie, having a lot of disposable income, and then ! boom ! watching dr. martin luther king get assassinated--what do you think america would be like today if he had not been killed? i remember the times of peace and love, the time that everyone got along relatively well, even of different race, and then, when king was shot, all of a sudden people stopped publicly hugging. women's lib and black power groups began to run the show. hatred crept in. never did we go back to those peaceful times, life just became more stressful and filled with spite. do you think that if MLK continued his preachings that our society would have less racial hatred? i think so, and i wish he wasn't shot. he added SO MUCH to brotherly love. what do you think?

Are you going to get out and vote for serious action on the environment? WOW! What we could do in this country if we all got out and voted...don't give up, it's better to do our best than to be selfish about this. Asked a question to see what people thought about manogamy. Suggested that manogamy is dumb as we are all animals.
One person said we are not animals. One said they are sitting there wonderring why anyone would ask such a dumb question..lol
most questions are dumb to someone. but I kinda thought the idea was to answer the question?
