Hi. Are there any inventions by Black Africans? I can't find any. I'm not talking about African-Americans educated in a White-America but actually Black Africans from Africa.
I'm doing a report. Are there any? Or am I going to have to change my topic?

Civilization did NOT begin n Africa! That has been proven, so get over it!
Just think! If civilization did start in Africa, and all groups left except the Negroe, which is the case, then why is Africa still prehistoric in evolutionary terms while all other civilizations are modern?
Black-Africans did not invent anything but jenkem.
So called African-Americans did not invent anything of importance, without the assistance or knowledge of their upbringing in the American European society, which was very creative as history shows.
So, the answer is NO! But, I did see a Negroe using a KFC bucket as a hat to keep the rain off his head once during a downpour. Does that count?

I'm not into hate or jealousy. The Africans I know have come here to study and pursue their medical training. While here they work very hard to excel in their jobs and professions. I've never met a single one who gave me the least impression that he or she was "better than" someone else. Read Before the Mayflower: History of Black America....in the beginning it gives a variety of inventions by Black Africans. But I'm sure you won't take the time to read it, because this question was obviously ignited by racism and boredom. Not your fake "report". Or else I'm sure you'd have used a more credible source.

Maybe this will help with your "report". By reading your other questions and comments, however, I highly doubt that you are intelligent enough to write a decent one.

In your report don't forget to mention that Africa was the center for trading up until the 16th century (that's actually the 1500's. I know you're not that smart) before the Europeans and Portuguese came in with their weapons and ravaged Empires. Before then however Africa had very wealthy civilizations in the West, North, and East. They traded things such as ivory, gold, salt, and yes even slaves (although they did not steal their slaves, their slaves were indentured servants and were often paid for their work). These were your so called "Sub Saharan" Africans, mind you, that had this fabulous wealth. It was the great wealth that they had that caused the Europeans, that were once dependent on them, to invade them and take what was rightfully theirs. You know, kinda like how the Native Americans were done. So please study WORLD history before you pass judgments on people. History is not pretty but it is what it is. This is no criticism on anyone's ancestry on my part. Please don't criticize mine. Especially when you don't know anything about it.

One of the first universities was established in Timbuktu, Mali in the 1200's. But it's a ghost town now.

Check out Zulu culture. They had a phenomenal society. Not peaceful, but very sophisticated.
