Spaniard, and we are the reason Filipinos cook it, but we aren't the first. We spaniards got it from the Moors when they took over our country centuries ago. So from Moors, to spaniards and now Filipinos. I LOVE adobo :)

I like Adobo because it gives better flavor to fish, chicken and a lot of other foods. I am a white American male.

i am a 50 y.o. white american born in the usa and have been using adobo for 30 years? it is just a great all around seasoning. i like the one w/Cumin in it and also the plain one... dont like w/pepper, i prefer to use a separate pepper when I want

LOL, I'm not Filipino, but my husband and in-laws are.
I'm a white chick.
I can't say I love adobo, but my mother in law always tells her dog that she's gonna make adobo out of him.
aaahh...she's so funny.
Oh...to answer your question...I love adobo because it just tastes good. No other reason.

Adobong manok with boiled eggs may be un-kosher! i love adobong baboy and manok with tofu. The tofu soaks up the juices/gravy from the beef and squishes style into your mouth once you bite it. Yum!
