A friend of mine has just moved into a house in Ireland (Nr Dublin) with some work friends. He phoned me this morning to tell me that one of the other guys had found a carrier bag of blood (I'm not joking) in his bathroom with several messages on referring to warding off bad spirits.

Does anyone know if this is some kind of custom that the landlord/lady does when people move into a new house?

I used to be anti-racist, but after college I became what my college prof. calls counter-racism. Meaning Black people should stop begging white people to hire us, and accept us at thier schools, and we should create our own wealth and keep it in circulation among ourselves.

Like saying the best defense is good offense. which do you think is better anti-racism or counter-racism.

For some reason, I get no attention from black men. I'm an attractive young, single, professional African American woman and black men will not approach me (at least not the one similarly situated in life as me). I get approached by White, Asian and PR guys all the time. Every relationship with a black man I've had was the result of me being the pursuer. What's a girl to do?

I'm not sure if you guys and gals know this.. but why are some diseases only affect Jewish people? Isn't being Jewish only a religion? Why is it that some diseases affect Jews? Why don't the diseases affect other ethnicities and races?
