When people ask what ethnicity I am, I usually answer bi-racial or mixed. Then if they want me to go into details, I usually tell them what I am mixed with. My question is, when I fill out surveys and forms or whatever asks for my ethnicity/race what do I really put? I mean because I'm not just one ethnicity, or more one than the other. I don't understand why there is not usually an option for mixed, or multi-ethnic, bi-racial, etc... It would make things a whole lot easier.

I'm sure I'll be called a tree hugger, but I'm curious what others think on this issue
I grew up in one of the biggest cities in my state.. basically a concrete city-I moved out of the county to a nice little city that has a lower population, it still has all the stores, restraunts, car dealerships, and all that a big city has but a lot of open beautiful land. Well since they have no where to build there anymore, they've decided to come to this city and make it the "New (city name) -so now all our open land is now going to be gone. What gets me the most is some people own 3 malls they built in the county from me, and they came here and saw all this open land and decided it was the best place to build the biggest mall in the state, and they are going to do it too.. are we going to destroy all of our environment to just try and make everything bigger and better.. the population here is not that big that we need the biggest mall in the state.

I would like to start by saying I love Italians. I love the food, the culture, the football, the language and the ice cream.

The thing I want to know is why are they so many fascists in Italy?

I know that most lazio fans are fascists and I hear on the news about right wing support growing in Italy.

So I was just wondering if it was the larger number who have problems or make fun of africans and jews etc or if it's just a few extremists who grab the headlines.

anyone know?

i am from england and my mum is half black and half white and my dad is half black and half white. i consider myself mixed rcae, but i have heard american people on boards say if two mixed people have a child together, it makes the child black. that is stupid as far as im concerned. they think only people with a white mum and black dad is mixed race. if a mixed person has children with another mixed person, then the genes are still there. the same way if two chinese people marry each other. but if a mixed person marries a black or white, then the genes will have washed away slightly. what are your opinions on what i am?

Whats the deal with this? poppys are red, the pretty little flowers growing at the side of the road and the red paper poppys millions of us wear every year to remember the pepole who gave their lives in the wars.
Who in their right mind would want to change such an important symbol of rememberance into a christian statement? surly this will be an insult to the non christian casualtys of war?
I for one will not give up my red poppys, whos with me?

I do not understand the community guidelines sometimes.... For one it says things about racism...What if I am speaking from personal experience.....fact.....knowledge on a particular subject.....it could be construed as racist...
Racist to me is...you just hate a particular race, country or other...for no reason...just because...when I have my opinions about certain subjects...I have personal experiences, of unfairness that I myself have experienced....I never talk out of my head...I have taken classes, had jobs..where I see so much, dissaray,,,unusual practices....and just plain insanity....no one has the right to tell me I am crazy, or racist, or unfair.
If things were turned around and these people were the first in their countries, and people took everything away from them, that they earned...THEY WOULD BE MAD TOO.

A number of Indian people I've read about or have spoken too via forum have been complaining that it's not realistic. Musicals and this version of the story are about fantasy, of course it's not realistic. But thats the fun of it. You can blend fantasy and reality together. They complain that they wouldn't be dancing in the streets. I disagree because dancing/singing is part of your culture and no doubt you do it on special occassions or occassions leading up too an very special ocassions.

I don't know maybe it's just me, what are your opinions?

well everone has to accept wat they are,
The Africans are Black, and they are hell proud of it, they even call it black power, thers white pride among the Eurpoeans, as for the Indians there are mixtures of colors, there are Fair, white, tanned, Brown, whetish and black Indians. . .
But majority of the Indians either fall in the fair, tanned or brown skin,
As for the carribeans there is a diff skin tone they have silky tanned texture.
In General all race groups accept their skin colour.
When mentioned to a Chinese that majority of Chinese are Yellow, they tend to see it as rascism.
Why is it that a Chinese cannot accept their colour ?
They tend to address themselve as
white or fair . . .
Maybe light skin, but not fair or white at all.
Arn"t Chinese proud of their skin colour .
This is a long time curiousity that i have for very long,
