The first egyptians were Africans. So you are part black ok.
The Arabs came over after. The white people mixed in so the Egypt we know is with colour less people.
Egypt was the craddle of civilisation and we all know its relationship to africa.

hard one to answer.....4000 years before the existence of the ancient egyptian civilisation so an approximate 8000BC the sahara dessert was infact a huge forest (a result of the earth axis being different to what it is today), and tribes moved nomadically around what would be considered a great paradise, then, the axis shifted slowly drying the area out and forcing tribes to move into tighter and tighter areas (Predominately the nile area) and slowly the egyption civilisation was created....the confusion is whether or not Egyptians are African or Middle Eastern in descent, as research shows that the tribe moved west to east toward the nile not east to west from the middle east...so that would suggest that egyptians were orginally african, but (and this now becomes guess work) over many 1000s of years trading with the east and not the west (as the sarah now block trade with the congo area) the Egyptians became who they are/ were.
Best thing is to say as to the origin of man (either biblical or evolutional) the odds are we are all out of africa.

I think it stands to reason that the source of all people are African as it has been proved that they are the first humans on earth.
The confusion as to whether Egypt is in Africa or the Middle East was brought about by the British government in their effort to re-name and re-align different states around the world for their own gain. Check out Israel's history - it has only been a Jewish state (enforced by the British) for the last few decades.
Eygptians descend from a whole range of different tribes and groups who were essentially African Hebrews and others. Then with the invasion of the Arabs, has the Egyptian peoples changed in skin tone and racial mix.
Look at it this way, upto 50 years ago, the UK was predominantly English (white). 60 years later, with the request of the British government to summon the Queen's subjects to work for the 'motherland', the face of the UK has changed very quickly.
What are the origins of British peoples?

Yes of course they originated from the African people and you seem not pleased with that . Egyptian history began along the Nile valley and how some came to be light in complexion can be attributed to genetics.

Here's one some can't answer. The pyramids are in Egypt correct, good. All the faces and features of the kings are African. Get any picture and take a look, what is there to disagree about?

Egypt is in Northern Africa so yes Egyptians are African but over time invasions from the ottoman empire (present day turkey) and other surrounding countries and cultures have influenced the culture in a more Asian/European direction away from the cultures of more Southern African countires.

Eqyptians are Africans; Egypt is a country on the northern part of the continent. Egypt does share a border with countries in the Middle East( http://lexicorient.com/e.o/atlas/countries.htm )but they are African.
There are several different ethnic groups in Egypt: the Copts, Arabic people, Bedouins, the Fallahin, and the Nubians. More info: http://www.website1.com/Odyssey/week3/FYI02A.html
