The people who come from Mongolian Heritage have evolved to cope with their environment. The "squinty" eyes you are referring to serve them well when the Yellow River dust storms blow and the glare of the sun would make big blue eyes blind.
As for the hair, yes, it is always dark but not always fine. That was for a survival purpose too. Some Chinese people have very thick hair. Black is the dominant colour because it is stronger than other colours, so even in international marriages, the children will have dark hair. Some toddlers will be seen with naturally fair hair though, but it darkens as they get older.
Things evolve gradually, but sometimes also quite quickly ... a lot of Chinese have big and wide-open eyes these days. It used to be put down to cosmetic surgery, but some are born with such eyes naturally; obviously a sign of evolution.
By the way, it might surprise you to hear that not so long ago people with blue eyes were thought to be blind. A serious misconception but due to ignorance.
In every ethnic group there are diversities. Eyes are often the centre of focus because they are the centre of attraction. But if the eye reveals the soul of that person, it doesn't matter what shape or size it is.

Strictly speaking these people are referred to as "Han Chinese" as to be Chinese means you could be any race the same way as to be British you can be any race. They evolved from a group called the Huaxia from the Yellow River in 2599 BCE. They currently make up 19 percent of the world's population.

Just as Africans evolved to cope with hot sunshine (they're black!) Oriental features evolved from living out on open plains (steppes), and the facial area - cheeks, forehead - became more cushioned/padded to protect vunerable areas of the face against the elements making they eyes slanted.

Errrm AARGH
That ud be becos its characteristic of their ethnic group.
Like I am fair with grey/blue eyes, that may be equally strange to ethnic chinese as they seem to be to you. SO WHAT.
Under the skin we are ALL the same.
Furthermore it has now been proved scientifically that we are all descended from an african "EVE" a mere 150,000 years or so ago! Thank God for the diversity or we would all be bored to death. As the French would say - "vive la difference"

Because that's the way nature made them.

Chinese people are beautiful and their eyes are really nice and unique. I love the fact that all Asian women have dark, beautiful hair. What a dream, a whole nation of brunettes!

Oriental people have extra skin on their upper eyelids to protect their eyes from the weather. They have evolved to adapt to their surroundings. Their eyes are not squinty.

Good grief.
