I am wheelchair bound, due to a spine & spinal cord injury. This has only affected my legs. But I find that people in Europe & America treat me like I am contagious or brain dead. Although I have found that people from the Middle East onto Far East, have no problems in treating me as an equal. And apart from offering assistance, I am just another human being

Why is it that women who work in offices as clerical help or receptionists feel that they have a right to a management or sales position if a manager or sales rep leaves? They were hired for the positions they applied for and agreed to work for what they are getting paid. Most have little to no education, no practical business experience and no contacts. Why are they always complaining?

I read that there is a virus being developed that only attacks people of a certain race.

What do you think the world would be like if say for instance everybody got wiped out apart from one race.

I am normally not a political person but I was wondering the other day when I saw a commercial on tv about abandoned babies in Africa; would it not be more productive to help these people understand about birth control and how if you can't feed yourself you certainly can't feed a child. Or would it be more expensive to pass on birth control along with the food aid?
It is no different in America either, because there are certainly people here who have children and can't feed them. Do people have children just because they can?

I'm sure I have opened a can of worms with this one

I don't want to make it a cultural or racial thing, but every since I moved into a particular neighborhood, I noticed that a certain culture of people (Middle Eastern) watch every move I make.

Is this a cultural thing that maybe I am taking out of context? Perhaps someone Middle Eastern can enlighten me; i'm open minded enough to try to rationalize the behavior as a strong interest in neighbor....but really.... It just bothers me that if i open my window, someone is staring at me..or if i am sitting in my car, someone walks up to the window to see what I am doing.

I want to know your story.
What happened to you so bad that made you, not your race, feel the way you did about a particular person. To make you hate everyone that have the same skin complection of them?
*mexican are hated
*whites are hated
*asians are hated
*blacks are hated
*indians are hated
all of our ancestors have played a part in killing and hating.
why today do you feel as if one or maybe a couple like, act, or portray the same characteristics its because of the color of their skin?

Ok here in England the legal age for booze is 18 and cigarettes is 16. And booze is very very easy to get your hands on - their are 3 shops that sell alcohol about 200 Metres from my front door.
Me and about 10 friends hit the pub every friday night after work - i normally drink half a bottle of southern comfort (with pepsi) before i get to the pub - then probably half about 5 or 6 double jack daniels n cokes before the night is over. Saturdays i spend nursing a hangover - then sunday i do drink a little but only 2 or 3 because of work the next day.
So people i know (ie my parents) view this as too much which i find amusing, compared to half of my friends its nothing!
