As opposed to the alternative? It may be easier, but I'd imagine it's much more boring.

Because you are living in a past-future orientated despair. You are struggling with an egoic existence.
If you brought yourself into the present moment and ease and lightness would come to your life.
You are always wanting, seeking, more and more and more when the thing you are seeking is already within you. It is in the state of just being.
Just be, accept, go with the flow of life, DO NOT RESIST.
That is the key to a light, easier and more fruitful life.
If your love leaves you accept that as what the present moment requires. You will soon fund that 'things', ;situations' which you held on to so dearly become lighter and not so heavy.
Things will come and go from your life and you will accept the impermanent nature of the universe. If you can be still while all around you is in chaos you will find peace.
You will enjoy the crazy cosmic dance and go with the flow of life but there will be no pain, no clinging onto things which you need to let go.
Ultimately you will be FREE.

To what are you referring? If it's something that you can do something about then you should do it. You are the author of your own destiny. If you find something is hard, don't do it or find something easier. If it's boring, find some more intersting alternative. As for being despicable, in what way? Is it your behaviour or that of others that you find so objectionable? If it is yours, do something about it. If it is others, find a reasonable way to protest.
If you are waiting for someone to come along, knock on your door, take you by the hand and show you a life that's worth living, you'll be waiting a long time. Why don't you try volunteering somewhere like a local hospice, homeless charity, dependency centre then see if your life is half as bad.

If you had to answer this question, what answer would you give?
then look at each part of the answer and advice that person what they would have to do to change each bit. You might find that life isn't so bad if you just stop and think about what it needs to make it better.
Self pity is a vicious circle but totally understandable when things get really tough, I know, I've been there, there is always a way out but you have to be strong and determined. Once you get out of it, you will never go back, its worth the effort.

Because you're probably like 16 or something and you expect everything to be given to you on a plate.
Get a job, open a savings account, within a year or two go travel the world. Easy.

There is no reason or purpose in life. It's not easy, or interesting if you don't want it to be.
As Homer Simpson says life is "just a bunch of stuff that happens". Which is the real truth of things.

life is what u make of it.You're not trying hard enough, enjoy what you have, there is always someone worse off than you.believe in god & it will help u.sometimes loving a girl may also change ur life.i am telling from my experience.best of luck.u can do it if u believe in urself.
