Ok here in England the legal age for booze is 18 and cigarettes is 16. And booze is very very easy to get your hands on - their are 3 shops that sell alcohol about 200 Metres from my front door.
Me and about 10 friends hit the pub every friday night after work - i normally drink half a bottle of southern comfort (with pepsi) before i get to the pub - then probably half about 5 or 6 double jack daniels n cokes before the night is over. Saturdays i spend nursing a hangover - then sunday i do drink a little but only 2 or 3 because of work the next day.
So people i know (ie my parents) view this as too much which i find amusing, compared to half of my friends its nothing!

too much is different for everyone. Anything that's seriously affecting yer health is too much. I've cut back the amount I drink big style since I got drunk and had no recollection of a least 2 hours of the night out! My friends had to fill me on on my antics the next day. I didn't like that outta control feeling so I've cut back. I think, if you aint doing yerself damage, drink what you like.

Ryan,
I think it helps to play the "numbers game" with these problems.Experts tell us that the safe amount for a MAN to drink each week is about 21 ALCOHOL UNITS (see below for what makes up a UNIT); for WOMEN its 14 UNITS.
A UNIT is a half pint of beer, a small glass of wine or a single pub measure of spirits.
THE GOOD NEWS IS!!!!- they mean you can drink this amount for EVERY WEEK OF YOUR LIFE!! and still not crash your liver.
Many young men drink far too much in their 20s and 30s and then put the brakes on when their families are born and they have other things to spend their money on. In this case the stats normalise for their WHOLE DRINKING LIFE.
My life is similar to the above.
The real dangers of "sessions" drinking is that you find out TOO LATE that you're one of those people who can't cut down or that you get "stinky faced" ONCE and walk under a bus; then the "numbers game" doesn't matter because you ARE a statistic,
Good Luck, Ryan, I hope you manage to have some good, safe, pub nights out with your mates, but; like the previous reply said, stay sober enough to meet "Someone Special " and find other things to do with your spare time.
Good Luck from the "Ex Beer Monster"

Firstly, if I were you, I'd consider the health aspects of what you're doing to your body. Even a tiny ammount of alcholol destroys cells in your body. I have known people who have died through far less alcholol abuse than you. My uncle was a moderate drinker most of his life. He's in his early 60's now and has had a liver transplant because of alchohol. He is not allowed to touch the stuff any more. I think a couple of pints a week and a couple over a weekend is a 'healthy' limit. Might sound little to you, but then you do drink lots! Don't get me wrong, I've had my share of boozing with mates before, but after seeing people affected by alcohol so much, I changed my ways.

that is a good question. As a a recovering Alcoholic I can say ones to many and a thousands not enough. AS I see it and this is only the opinion of a man who drank and drank hard for over twenty years. If you drink more than twice a week, drink uncontrollable, crave a drink and suffer hang overs. your drinking to much. I, like allot of people can't drink socially. I drank to get drunk and forget my troubles and personal problems.Yes initially for the fun and the way it makes you feel but over time it gets harder to reach that same level of inebriation and POOF! your a drunk.

Of course your parents think its to much. Its their job to care about you.The art of youth culture is to be able to drink a lot without loosing it or passing out. But its binge drinking its ruining your liver and kidneys and killing a lot of brain cells. But hey we've all done it. Just don't let it go to far. When your older you'll look back and be glad you don't do it any more. Just have fun and stay safe. Also a little tip - Its better to stay the soberest out of your mates, you'll have more fun laughing at their drunken antics and pull more women being the sober one.

That is a lot.
It may be amusing to you now, but in about 10 years you will start feeling it. You will damage your liver and it will not be able to metabolize many things including many lifesaving medications. Wise up and slow down.
What are you trying to prove?

You don't have your Friends body and each one is different and absorbs at a different rate I must say it sounds as if you drink a lot to me, so beware you could be storing up trouble for the future with your liver.

Generally Wobble is drunk and enough. Falling down is paralytic and to much.

It's easy to get now cause you're not realising the affects when you're young, not when you started to feel numbness in your stomach ( which is closest to your liver by the way) cause that's when you're starting to have signs of alcohol abuse....... anyway, for someone whose as cute as you don't need all that for fun, don't you think so?

Come'on.....life is too short just to spend it on alcohol, right?!!
Take care.

You have the typical signs of binge-drinking, don't laugh, look it up.
There are different types of alcohol abuse. Do something now, because the day will come when the hangover remedy becomes the norm.
