Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - July 2007

I'm transferring down to kennesaw in December and I'm hoping to continue my hobby of being a drag king for some fun and extra cash. I've been kinda looking into it but I don't really know whats good and whats not, so any help would be very much appreciated... from kennesaw to atlanta and anywhere near or between. I'm a young heterosexual guy, very masculine personality, and I've consistently dated very feminine women.

About 5 years ago I discovered I have a fetish for anal sex, and then recently in the last couple years I've been very curious and attracted to transexuals. I almost exclusively masterbate to porn containing them when my girlfriend is not available. I know I'm not gay because the idea of doing it with a man is not at all appealing and I never look at men sexually when I'm out and about, but for some reason I not only like transexuals, but pre-op ones specifically. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation, not a lifestyle. Some people might not want to hear it, but it is no different than heterosexuality. You don't hear people referring to the "straight lifestyle." I am just tired of this term. It doesn't even make sense.

I asked an honest question that reflected the reality of a lot of people, which some people agreed and thanked me for bringing it up. But the majority of the responses tended to be juvenile name-calling. Is this because the majority of users are 14 or under? Or do people really have nothing more useful to say? It baffles me that people can feel so strongly about an issue, and yet the most persuasive thing they can find to say is "You're a *******."

Come on people. If you really believe in your positions, convince us intelligently and with respect for people (remember that this is an international board with people from all cultures) Leave the cheap insults and name-calling on the playground where they belong.

Twenty years ago my folks had an ugly divorce, a year after it came out that my dad was gay. He still had sex outside marriage, and gave her crabs during that time. He told my grandparents the reason was because my mom was having an affair. My mom didn't tell them otherwise, as my grandpa's health was failing at the time. He still hasn't come out to his mom, and I think they have a lame relationship because of that. I think it hurts my grandma that he isn't more open with her. He now believes he has Sylvia Brown--like powers and has "come out" to his father,. I think he will wait until she passes away too before attempting to have a close relationship. To me it's sad. I think they would both be better off if he had the courage to tell her. Is it my place to do that for him? Over the last few weeks I've been livid, it just kind of hit me how blatantly evil his behavior has been in his past. My mom's well over it, but I feel like my grandma deserves to know she's innocent.
