I wonder if all the nasty LGBT hating people would leave this area alone, if we stopped answering their questions. No matter what we say in defense of ourselves, they do not care. Just fulling the fire.

I have tried getting this started several times, unfortunately there are always new members that do not understand how futile it is to waste time on a hater

Yes, we try to do that as much as possible, when someone gets downright personal and nasty, I cannot sit back and let some people get away with it. However, I always report such insensitive and ignorant attacks on the LGBT community and its members.

I know what you mean (unlike the guy above me who can't see through typos). There's a lot of people in this section who ask stupid questions just to provoke people. But no matter how many bigots in this section just see our answers to their questions and keep to their narrow-minded path, perhaps there is at least a couple people who will learn something. Just keeping pluggin' away :)

I can't speak for others, but I do it because I enjoy ranting. It's like free therapy, even though I realize I'm just playing into their hand (and criticize others for doing the same) and should probably quit! I wonder if there's a 12-step program...

We don't stop answering questions, because they haven't finished the Answers Patch. They are trying to develope one so that we can make it through the day without answering a single question in here. I've heard they are starting the trial runs of the new patch though... Best of luck to them! :)

Good point...why I like giving fire back plus I get two points for telling someone ignorant that they are ignorant. So much joy in that. They wasted 5 points for me to tell them they are losers and I get two points. sweet deal if you ask me.

They need to know that GLBTs can answer intelligently. To some of them, we're just emotionally, religiously vulnerable people, and their one trollish comment can hurt us or make us change our lives (for the better, in their mind).

i agree, if they think they are getting to us they will continue doing it. lets just answer the real question from family and forget the haters in here. yeah
