I can't remember what age I was but I now understand that I made the choice as a youngster after being over exposed to two heterosexual parents, John Wayne movies, and the undue influence of all those straight teachers at school. Oh, and based on an earlier post I must, at some point have seen a Greek woman wearing a toga. You know how it is, the whole nature and opportunity thing.
Of course, if I had an IQ bigger than the circumference of a chick pea I'd probably think I was born that way. Just like you more fortunate Gay folks were :)

LMAO! I was a split person way back then. It was dark and i remember tumbling down a tube, when something struck me, and lo and behold, magic happened. I heard the stork's cries in the distance. But that was the time, it occurred to me that I did not have to choose to be heterosexual. I was just so happy to learn I did not have to make a choice at all. I was a gay little embryo, happily waiting to take on the world :-)

Dear Wicky,
The fact of the matter is I have yet to choose the type of people that turn me on… Or off.
What I have made a conscious decision about is: Not to hide who God mad me, just to please the neighbors.
Fre@k Wrought:
“… You gays might not believe this but god is testing you…”
You are absolutely right Fre@k... She is testing all of us including yourself. What you don’t seem to have caught onto yet is that this is an open book test. With the one answer staring you in the face.
"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you" John 15:12 http://www.theworkofgod.org/Devotns/Euchrist/HolyMass/gospels.asp?key=10
If Christ preached love… And you preach hatred… Then whose work are you about?
Hugs,
PennyAnn

I was in puberty. Probably 9-10 years old.
It was a product of a combination of genetics, nurturing, and learned behavior.
I may have been earlier than some, and later than others. I know I was not born hetero, because I was born an infant. It is kind of hard to have an established sexuality before your nuts even drop.
BTW: There are some fringe theories out there that claim sexuality is defined in puberty or adolescence. I know this is a bizarre concept but if you don't believe me look it up on the internet.
This would explain the behavior of horny teens.

I've heard this twist before, though unfortunately, those that would benefit by such introspection are too closed-minded. Personally, I chose to be myself, rather than what others wanted me to be. Since I happen to be gay, I chose life over death, and I chose to live my life openly and honestly rather than poisoning those around me with my misery, lies, and loneliness.

I was in my early teens when I choose to be straight. I chose it because men just wanted sex without a relationship. I used to get notes slipped under the bathroom stall asking for sex from strangers. It was truly creepy.
Women are different. You have to work for the prize. You have to show that you are worthy of their respect and love and body.
When did you choose to be gay, and why would you make such a choice?

I converted from my hetrosexual ways. I repented from my sinful hetronormist lifestyle and accepted love into my heart.
I am glad to see you have too Wicky and that you are spreading the message that hetrosexuality is a CHOICE.
And it is unnatural. I mean they have differnt genitals, how on earth does that work?
Love and satrical turn around question, it's a fun way to fight ignorance :D

I used to fake being heterosexual when I was younger... Maybe one day I'll choose to be heterosexual, but I highly doubt it. As I wouldn't want everyone to throw bibles at me for being heterosexual! :)

I am a natural-born homo .. but ... **looking away** ... my parents are heteros. I didn't realize it until about 10 or so, and I have come to accept them the way they are.
I know that in my heart, they didn't choose to be heteros. It just happened. Call it genetics if you need to label it!
