If there was any kind of pre-natal therapy that had a resonable chance of assuring that your offspring would not be gay, with no adverse side affects or any other influence on their personalities, would you use it?

I'm gay and I would. I would want my kids to have every possible advantage in the world, and to have the greatest number of potential partners to choose from. In the same way, I'd also go for something to increase the chances of right-handedness.

The sentiment on the radio yesterday (expressed by straights) was that we gays are so in love with our "life styles" that we'd unquestionably wish it on everyone, most especially our kids.

How say you?

So.. I have been dating this guy for about 3 months now.. everything has been going great! I'm currently in college and he has to travel a bit for work... so we see each other on the weekends/break etc... I think about him all of the time.. and wish I were there with him... Don't want to loose him/grow apart... I just need to try and re-focus myself so that i'm not thinking about him every free second of the day... I still have many years in school/plan on going to medical/dental school after college.. Don't think I could have ever met a better person... Heck.. never thought I would come so close to this person.. Just don't want to loose him/I want to be happy when i'm away from him.. truth is I can't be with him all of the time.. and he really supports me going to school.. Any similar situations or advice anyone? Thanks in advance to everyone who replys!

we have a good sex life together, so I don't get the attraction. Porn is ok, but he can't go without it. Chat rooms just seem like another way to connect with others, then what? He says it's "who he is" Looking for advice about these sites, info, support, commentary, etc...

I found out about the g0y movement a couple years back after looking into activist Bill Weintraub's frot and homosex related pages. I thought the focus on a non-mainstream expression of same-sex attraction, the focus on respect, and the desire to promote healthy sexuality was great. However the focus on deriding those who differ from them in terms of masculinity is very disappointing and the us vs them mentality is a turn in the wrong direction. The aspects of creating a new ideology about the "ideal" man is also very disappointing and nothing new. How do you reconcile the radical statements espoused by g0y movement groups from more critical views of sexuality and behavior?

Okay - so go to a small college where many of the residents know each other. Since freshman year (junior now) I have noticed this amazingly hot guy giving me the ('checkin you out') eye everytime we walk by each other or spot each other in class. But I always just let it roll of my back because he's a football player, clearly not out, and I was never sure to begin with - I just didn't want to go down that road. Lately, I had noticed more and more we spot each other and I still catch him glancing at me. It was driving me nuts.

So, I went on this gay site online and searched the area and found a profile... I am 99% sure it's same guy. The look identical. The profile indicates the location, height, hair and eye color of the guy. ALL matches. I was shocked when I saw the profile.

However, we know of each other but we have no immediate connection. It would be tough to work my way into this kid's group of friends... but I almost want to ask - online or in person. What should I do?

I was just wondering if you feel you were born gay, or did something trigger you to become gay?

I always thought that gay people were born gay because who would "choose" to live that lifestyle, knowing how they would be treated in society?

But now, I have an aunt who has only been gay for 8 years. I know she wasn't always gay and "in the closet" because she always had a man. Also, when we talk about it now, she has never said that. She said she got turned out when she did time in jail.

She always says that she loves her girlfriend, but if something was to happen to their relationship, she wouldn't want another woman. She would go back to a heterosexual relationship.

I guess my question is, is she gay, is she bi, or is she just going through a phase? She's not even attracted to other women, only her girlfriend, but she still looks at men.

Do gay people actually "choose" this? I just want to hear it from the "horses mouth". Either way, I still love her.

I'm straight, and I love women, and I was just wondering, I work with this guy, and he recently came out that he was gay, and I overheard him and this girl in the stockroom of our store, and he was talking about how he really wants to get laid, and I have to admit, this guy really looks like a girl, smooth skinny body, and this really sweet looking girl ***, and he recently just gave me his phone number to hang out, just as friends he said, but should I ask him if he wants to? and if so, how should I got about it!?!?!?

I really just want a man for companionship. (By the way, i'm twenty and look just like any other girl my age so i do get attention and offers, though they dont generally know im ts). I refuse adamantly to share a bed with a man whilst pre-op, so dont get any sick ideas.
