Here's my dillema: I'm 25 and in love. I believe in monogamy, and look at it from an evolutionary standpoint. Animals and cavemen could be polygamous because relationships are based on biology, but we've evolved to the point now where relationships are based on biology, psychology, anthropoly, and many other -ologies, and because of it, polygamy doesn't quite work well with us anymore. My boyfriend disagrees. He says sex is just fun, and we should go out and have fun. He believes sex with me is making love, but sex with others is only fun. I fear opening our relationship will cause it to fall apart. I want to hear other opinions on this.

I'm a gay guy, and I'm nuts about my friend's (a girl) boyfriend. I flirt with him mildly and discretely when he's around, and I've heard from several people that he's always asking about me, and that he's always trying to check me out (considering how much I check him out, I'm surprised I haven't seen it).

How can I find out if he's gay, and how do I make a move without screwing up my friendship with this girl? And no need to give me a guilt trip about trying to steal my friend's boyfriend. I know it's horrible, but I rationalize that, if he's gay, I'd probably be doing her a favor anyway.

Why are so many people who say that they are open minded & tolerant of others most often the least tolerant & most closed-minded?

Gay & lesbians know that straights can't be right. (open minded?)

Alcoholism and smoking is an personal problem. (open minded?)

I think that it is interesting that these are often on opposite (popular opinion) sides & medicine puts them both in the same category.

Does that mean that though they are both wired that way (a predisposition from birth) makes it a lifestyle choice, illness or whatever the individual chooses to call it?

So many times I have read replies in here that clearly illustrate a blind malfunction of independent cognition when someone wants to justify bigotry, discrimination and hatred they cite "god" as an excuse. Is that not hypocritical for a "christian" (or indeed any other faith)? Should such faiths not teach TOLERANCE of diversity?
And what makes these bigots so confident that their teachers and sources are accurate? I mean, if you haven't directly spoken to the relevant deity, ultimately at some point you must be taking someone else's word for it (ie another mortal human) and how do you test whether their interpretation is correct?
Sometimes I despair at the cruelty propagated in the name of "god".

What is it that attracts gay men to these wonderful women, and are there any male celebs that attract them en-masse like the females do?

Long ago, David Bowie was a hot attraction for gay men. What male celeb is in that position today?

Oh and by the way, I'm gay. What I should really ask is what should come first, a relationship or college? or both? I know I have the rest of my life to find that special someone, so should I put that off until I graduate?

So, I recently discovered that the idea of having sex with another female turns me on, possibly even more so than sex with guys. However, when trying to determine whether or not I was lesbian or bisexual, I realized that only sex with a women turns me on, and the idea of dating and having a relationship with another women doesn't seem appealing at all. I would much rather date a guy and the idea of marrying anyone besides a guy seems, at this point, totally out. So, am I bi-curious or full out bisexual? I am sure I am one or the other.
