I'm a gay guy, and I'm nuts about my friend's (a girl) boyfriend. I flirt with him mildly and discretely when he's around, and I've heard from several people that he's always asking about me, and that he's always trying to check me out (considering how much I check him out, I'm surprised I haven't seen it).

How can I find out if he's gay, and how do I make a move without screwing up my friendship with this girl? And no need to give me a guilt trip about trying to steal my friend's boyfriend. I know it's horrible, but I rationalize that, if he's gay, I'd probably be doing her a favor anyway.

NO...NO NO NO....
DON'T DO IT......

This didn't work for my friend...he ended up losing both.

Don't ruin a good thing. Let your friend have her guy.
Go get your own.

Come on, I'm not going to help you rationalize hurting your friend!

If he is gay, it doesn't matter, since he is in a relationship with your friend. He is off limits, unless you want to give up your friendship with this girl. She will never forgive you.

Besides, he may not be gay, but just likes the attention. How reliable are your sources. Are they pulling your leg? The whole thing sounds smarmy to me.

You want to mess around with your gf's bf? I am so glad you are not my friend. I personally would never consider doing that to a friend. There is no way you can justify that action - it is simply wrong. And quit boo-hooing about a guilt trip - like you have feelings , yeah right!

Sleeping with any of your friend's boyfriends is a big no no! It is one of the ethics of friendship. Is your friendship really worth destroying over your desires for her boyfriend? I hope not. Let him figure it out on his own and then be there for her if does figure it out. That is what a real friend would do.

Simple, ask him. Come out and discuss the whole issue with him. If the relationships are hurt, then there are other issues to work out.

Give him openings to open up to you and start the discussions, so he feels in charge and confrtable. Maybe sit down with him in a semi private place and just talk, trying to lead to the question or his willingness to open up.

It's really easy, just talk to him. You have to trust your gut feeling and when you are talking to him, you'll know the right words to say. The point is any relationship on any level is based on some form of attraction, so all it's a case of doing is recognising that attraction and seeing where it takes you.

Whether he is gay or not your friend will feel betrayed.
Is this guy worth that?

If so maybe a common male friend could try and find out for you if he is interested in males.

grow up! Most guys are not gay and thank god of that.
How do you think you will have a normal life that way?
Sex is 90 percent in your head. If all you think about is guys, sure that is what your going to want.
The bible comdems homosexuality, drunkeness, and greed.
If it was impossible god wouldn't ask it of you.
He never asks the impossible.

just come right out and ask him. beware that he might be insulted even if he is gay cause he's afraid to come out. at the very least, he'll tell his girl-friend and they'll both be angry at u. one more word of advice, don't believe ppl that say they've seen him checking u out; unless they're real good friends, they could be having fun with u

You have to realize that until he breaks off the relationship he has with her, he will not appreciate you trying to destroy it. The end result may well be, he winds up angry with you and loses the girlfriend. Very counter- productive.
