I am getting married soon to a wonderful girl and as a crossdressing guy who will be wearing a dress for the ceremony I would like to know if anyone has suggestions as to what type of dress could minimize masculine features eg broad shoulders etc.

I am average height and build.

Hey! I think it's great... just TRY not to look prettier than she does. It's rough when a girl shows up to her wedding, only to be outdone by her fella in a stunning ball gown! Listen, why don't both of you go to a local fabric store, take a look at some wedding dress patterns, and pick one out that you think will flatter you. That way, you can have the dress made, it'll save you money, and you can pick out everything, the fabric, everything. And it will be tailor made to fit! There are lots of seamstresses that can do it... I'd do it for you, but I live in Massachusetts. If you live anywhere near, give me a holler!! :) I'm sure you'll look amazing! Congratulations!
And ignore John 3:16 boy up there... He needs to read the rest of that Book to get a better idea of what its message is.

if you're muscular, wear something a bit more loose. Might be tighter in the waist, but be sure to make it loose over the hips and the chest, cause there are the most obvious masculine features and the lack of feminine ones. Try puffed sleeves, puffed chest, narrow waist and a huge bell skirt maybe.

You might try trying on different styles to see what looks best on you. I wouldn't go for open neck ones as they tend to give breadth to the shoulders. Another point, to get a waist look consider something with a veed waistline. You might want something with some 'flounce' to the skirt to enhance narrowing the waist.

try halter top? might detract from broad shoulders as it draws the eye up to the face and away from shoulders.

Dog Walker should be deleted from Answers. That bible-thumping copy-and-paster.

Ymmo has the best input so far, wear a veil and no plunging neckline, also, have your nails done.
