I mean no one in my family accepts that i'm gay even though i told them when i was 14, i'm 17 now and i'm so depressed. My dad and I used to be so very close but now its all over, i seem to sicken him and its killing me inside. I just want him to hold me again, my mom too but it's like i don't have anyone except my girlfriend and i'm being forbidden from speaking/seeing to her since my dad caught us kissing. We find ways to see eachother but its getting harder. And i'm just getting more and more depressed. Now that i'm older and a lil more active in activities involving glbt teens the situation at home has gotten worse. I've started cutting, not seriously. But its the only way i get release, can someone help me?

I am 17 now but I told my family I was gay when I was 14. When I told my parents my dad went berserk and beat me up pretty badly. Things had calmed down since then but I recently got a girlfriend and when he came into my room and caught us going in for a kiss he kicked her out and hit me again. He's been threatening me every day since then and slapped me the other day for having a pride flag sewed on my backpack. We used to be so close, i was totally daddys little girl, he'd never been abusive before i told him but now the notion of my being lesbian seems to enrage him instantly. i don't wanna lose the love of my dad, even though i think i already have. I really like my girlfriend she totally understands me, but if its going to be like this should i just leave her and wait until i can get out of the house? I try to talk to them but neither my mom nor my dad want to talk. I'm so confused and I'm really hurting inside and out. I'd love some opinions because i'm nearing the end of my rope

Ok, so running about the garden the beach the street (joke) is all well and good when the sun is out. But how do you cope with life inside the house.

I mean if your sitting around on the furniture in this weather, doesnt all the sweat from your body effect the furniture?

God knows when i come in from the garden after laying out for a while i look and feel like a basted turkey (no, legs are not tied up - lol).

There must be a technique, or do you just carry a bath sheet?

I have many gay and lesbian friends and at times it seems to me like they get treated with more respect than I do if I am out en fem.And no I am not going out hitting on men or looking for any kind of trouble,just going about my business wearing clothes I am comfortable in.But that doesnt stop the small minded idiots from doing everything from calling me obscene names to spitting on me.Sorry if I am rambling on but I have to get this off my chest before I explode.

In the last year I have come to terms with my sexuality and would like to live my life for me instead of living a lie to please other people. What I would like for my friends and family to tell me is something along the lines of "we already knew." I have not had a girlfriend, ever, so it's not like it'd be a complete surprise. My mom is very open minded and I think she'd be ok with it, and my brother has already told me that it's ok with him if I'm gay and that he'd still love me. (I still didn't say anything.) I guess what has been bothering me is my dad makes derrogatory comments about gays, and the disappointment my parents will feel when they find out I won't be marrying a woman and making grandkids for them, and I have an irrational fear of rejection that I know I will have to deal with. Should I just come out to mom and not dad? I have a good idea which friends will be supportive and who won't. I want the good and the bad, and did you regret it? looking for inspiration...

Now you`re asking yourself, Do I contain one of this sins or do I have them all?

Honestly, I practically done all the 7 sins and its the reason why I`am stock in a corner of my life thinking that, "is this the end?"

I`ve noticed it recently and I dont think there`s anyway to revert my pureness altogether.

Anyone who can enlighten me with something, be my guess!

This is not a religion thing, this is something to clear your thoughts and guilt, to remove all those nasty sins from scowering inside you.

THREE different doctors have diagnosed me as transgender. I have been on a DOCTOR DIRECTED hormone replacement therapy for over five years. I am now comfortable and happy with who I am, but society and my family have disowned me, despite the doctor diagnoses. I did not choose to be this way. I did not ask to be this way. I have no choice is being this way. I am who I am and there is NO magic fairy dust or drugs to cure it. (For you religious fanatics, prayer does not work either.) I am NOT sick, I am NOT ill. THREE different, separate doctors have all diagnosed the same thing.
Do I abandon doctor recommendations, or do I live my life for me and accept who I am?

Why should gays and lesbians be denied the right to marry. Love is love and no one can really say that it is ok for one couple to marry, but not another. What would the big deal be if same sex marriage was made legal? By making it illegal, a minority is being denied the same rights as everyone else, which is illegal under the constitution.
