I have an angel that belonged to my folks. I think they bought it back in the early 50's for the first Christmas they spent together as a couple.

Reposted in Seniors, polls and surveys seemed to not really fit well.

My mom sang this one to me-
Day is done,
Gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky.
All is well, safely rest,
God is nigh.

And I sing "You are my sunshine" to my daughter only we have fun changing the versus. Such as the part that goes "You'll never know dear how much I love you" we change that to " You'll always know dear how much I love you".

We are a mexican-american family. My sister and her husband make good money and bought a nice house in an upper class neighborhood dominated by mostly white americans.

Yesterday, on Thanksgiving, my cousin (who is dark), My brother (who is white mexican with bachelors in Journalism and works in the news) and I (white mexican, accountant), drove together to our sisters house for thankgiving.

We parked our car infront of our sisters house and got off to walk to the house. On the other side of the street were two tall white american males that kept looking at us dirty.

I started to feel like they did not want us in their neighborhood. They started to motion towards us and say things. But we just looked back at them and walk into our sisters house to have Thanksgiving.

Why are american whites raciste towards hardworking mexican americans?? We have three generations in California

Six of us stayed friends when we left school,
one who we will call ( (T ) ) got into bad company. Married and divorced, and hit the drink hard, broke her mothers heart umteen times. The five of us often gave her money, a bed for the night and took her to the hospital after one of her debauched new friends beat her up. Now that has all changed, because after years of abusing her
body, she has become a Christain. And don't we know it, she talks down to us for going to the bingo. How can an ex alcoholic
talk like this, do you think she has been brainwashed, she has even become nasty,
surely that is not being a Christain.?

Is it really worth it to fight other people over a silly toy? If you grabbed it out of some other woman's hands, do you really feel proud of yourself?

We know all of a woman is important to a man
Which half seems to not only draw his attention but brings him over to you, the female.
Why is he attracted ot that half

Some men say that when they first see a woman itsa her personality that attracts them, yet they have never spoken to her or seen her or read about her in their lives.. I say that lookscan be deciving so that truly will not help them from a distance to know her personality before she even speaks. There are exceptions to evry rule of course,

Have you heard about Courage?
Do YOU have the courage to refute political correctness?

http://couragerc.net/

"Courage" is an apostolate of the Catholic Church and ministers to those with same-sex attractions and their loved ones. You'll never hear about it in the mainstream media: They have many success stories of people overcoming their same-sex atraction issues, and sometimes even getting married to fellow members of the opposite sex. They are amazing stories - stories which prove wrong the notion that you are just born that way and there is nothing you can do about it.

We all have weakness to particular sins: gambling too much, eating (Gluttony), womanizing, alcohol. Alcoholics are good people, even though drunkeness is a sin, and they have AA.
Homosexuals are good people too, even though homosexual sex is a sin, and I just wanted you to know that you have Courage http://couragerc.net/

God bless

An Englishman's wife steps up to the first tee and, as she bends over to
place her ball, a gust of wind blows her skirt up and reveals her lack
of underwear.
"Good God, woman! Why aren't you wearing any knickers?" her husband
demands.
"Well, you don't give me enough housekeeping money to afford any," she
replies.
The Englishman immediately reaches into his pocket and says, "For the sake
of decency, here's £50. Go and buy yourself some underwear."

Next, the Irishman's wife bends over to set her ball on the tee. Her
skirt also blows up to show that she is wearing no undies.
"Blessed Virgin Mary, woman! You've no knickers. Why not?"
She replies, "I can't afford any on the money you give me."
He reaches into his pocket and says, "For the sake of decency, here's £20.
Go and buy yourself some underwear!"

Lastly, the Scotsman's wife bends over. The wind also takes her skirt
over her head to reveal that she, too, is naked under it.
"Sweet mudder of God, Maggie! Where the hell are yer drawers?"
She too explains, "You dinna give me enough money ta be able ta affarrd
any."

The Scotsman reaches into his pocket and says "Well, fer the love 'o God,
'n the sake of decency, here's a comb. Tidy yerself up a bit."
