True story. In certain nieghborhoods, the police stop people and ask them for ID. If they can not produce it. They get taken to jail for tresspassing. This really happens, but for some reason it only seems to happen in where Black people live. Do the police do this to white people?

We once had a Citizens Bank credit card. We have not--by their records--charged anything since 2001. We asked them to close the card a couple years latter. We just got what looked like junk mail from them, and I didn't do my usual tear up and throw away thing--I opened it. It was a bill for $29 as a charge for being part of their rewards program, which we have never agreed to and didn't care about because we had closed the account. We had to spend a lot of time to get them to rescend the bill as they said we had not closed the card. If we hadn't caught it, we wouldn't have paid the minimum, and there would have been a large non-payment fine.
PLEASE pass the word to all the seniors & others about this "procedure" being used by Citizens Bank to make themselves more money.

I was appalled by the new line of clothing Macys is carrying. With shirts that read “M” is for Mojado, Green is for Green Card, and my favorite I is for illegal. I’m Mexican American and I just can’t find the humor here! What’s next Macys? If your white your right T-shirts? S is for slavery? No race, no color, no hate! How about that one? I hope their not trying to insinuate that brown is better than white. And by the way who is going to be wearing this new line. Maybe a bunch of white guys! Yes that is just going to be so funny! I’m can’t believe Macy’s! Yes I’m pissed! Any one else?

The Lutheran pastor soon to be bishop of the Metropolitan Chicago Synod wants his denomination to lift a celibacy requirement for gay and lesbian clergy.

"That's where I think the church is going," Bishop-elect Wayne Miller of Aurora, IL said. "That's where I think it needs to go."

He's hoping the change will come next month in Chicago, where the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is conducting its churchwide assembly. Nearly a third of the denomination's 65 synods are asking for a policy shift in clergy standards.

Eventually, gay and lesbian clergy in monogamous, same-sex relationships could be allowed to serve.

John Roberts of Chicago also hopes it could lead to the reinstatement of gay clergy removed from ministry. He says he was ousted as pastor of a Michigan church in the 1990s after he confided to his bishop that he was gay.

There is a popular claim now that homosexuality is an innate or natural condition in individuals, perhaps even determined at birth. My question to those who subscribe to this is as follows: What should be done with pedophiles and those convicted of bestiality? If sexual inclination is predetermined and natural and cant be changed, then these people are acting on their natural impulses and will continue to do so. How do you think such individuals should be handled.

People are quick to say that big women are sloppy with big bellys and have low self esteem and that they don't care about themselves. It's offensive because it's not true for every big person. Im plus size and Im healthy I don't walk around with a big hanging belly my waistline is the slimmest part of my body., I wear nice clothes, and I pull plenty of men. WHEN WILL PEOPLE STOP SAYING THAT ALL BIG PEOPLE ARE FAT, NASTY, AND UNATTRACTIVE????????????

Seriously , this is stupid as a person i can relax my hair if i want, i chose to do so because frankly, i have too much hair its so freaking curly and hard for me to handle so i get it striaght coz its easier. Its annoying people saying black women want my hair because it 'got white' in it. We should say to white girl who curls her hair that she wants afro hair, sooooo many white people get dred locks too and braids nowadays, when a white people wants a tan or dies their black, we should say 'omg they are so jealous they want to be black'.
Anyway the point is why do most people think like this? Dont i have the right to strighten my hair if i want to? Some times i like it afro some times i like it striaght. and weave is great because we have insist long or short hair or any colour or ouragous style dreds too we have plenty of choice. So why do people think black people want to be white when we decide to have a new look and straghted our hair or get weave? Cause we certainly do not.

Hi,
I am currently living in Europe and I have tanned skin.
I am thinking about going to Miami next month but I have heard that Immigration officials are extremely rude when you enter the US and if you have olive skin they treat everyone like a terrorist. I would love to visit the US but I have heard other people's stories and the rudness of DHS officiers doesn't seem welcoming at all. If anyone can let me know their opinion that would be great. Thanks.

The reason for racism is ignorance. The cause for ignorace is lack of education or just plain stupidity. I understand that. But, why do people just keep thinking that other races are bad or stupid. They're not. Every race has their stupid people. But, every race has their smart and educated people.
And skin color and eye shape doesn't mean anything. That's what happens when we adapt to our environments.
So, will someone please explain to me NOW, why are so many people racist?

1964 - I was in the 11th grade. A senior was going surfing and asked me to go to the beach with him.

Mom and dad were building a waterfall for the swimming pool and their mission was to collect rocks. When he came to pick me up, mom asked, "What beach are you going to? Do they have rocks there?" Yes they did.

The beach was below a cliff. There I was making-out with this guy in the sand and when I looked up, guess who was standing on the cliff watching us? I was very embarrassed to say the least!

i have many gay friends, but more and more, i notice them checking me out. The worst part is that they have describe their type and i seem to fit their category. Im not saying im all that, but i am uncomfortable that they are interested in me for more than friends. I am a straight male and nothing will change that. Does this uncomfort makes me a homophobe?

That's it's ok in American society to be bigoted/hateful & racist against the White majority, & White people are just suppose to sit there & take it like a bi+ch.I don't like political correctness & multiculturalism. It makes me angry that it's ok for everyone who isn't White to identify with their race/ethnicity,
but it's racist when White people do it.To say that all cultures are equal, but White people's feelings don't matter. That you can make fun of us all you want.I don't think it's racist if you like being around people who are like you.It isn't racist to feel more comfotable around people who are like you.Yet it's called racism when White people do it.Real racism is when you hate & feel superior to people who are different then you.

I am a Lakota Sioux Native American, and a few months ago finally got off my reservation, finished my english lessons, and began attending a public school. Now I am curious about white people in particular because my school is predominately white. Why do white girls want blonde hair? Why do they use the word like ina sentence more than three times? Do white guys only like white girls? Why do some white guys think it is funny to burp and/or fart in public? I am confused to the entire white society, including the fact that many white consider themselves mixed if one half their family is geramn and the other italian. You are still white, no? In indian tribes, you are still indian even though your mother may have been cherokee and your father black foot. Just curious about whites. I love white people they just confuse me.
