Now I hope that settles the issues with reverse discrimination.

The daughters of Erin were 2 diff scholarships, but only for Irish American women. There was a lot more, but I thought that was enough.

The daughters of Erin is for Irish American women which in the US would be classified as white

The one for Alcorn Univ says:
Full - same as Full Academic Scholarship, but is for non-black students only (intended to increase Caucasian enrollment).

Can you tell me how to get one. I can't afford to go to college and I want to so badly. 2D

NAME ONE. Seriously, show me a link to one scholarship that explicitly states it is for people of white/Caucasian heritage *only*.

And having scholarships for minority students is NOT reverse racism, because white students already benefit in countless small ways from institutionalized racism - the historical and cumulative benefits of privilege that put them, overall, in less need of encouragement.

There are several scholarships and entrance criteria that only apply to 1% of black Americans.

You can go to any HBCU in the country and get a good education for free if you are white.

BTW, the UNCF isn't just for blacks and minorities. It started off as that but whites can apply and have gotten the scholarships as well.

The College of Wooster {Ohio} has two scholarships each year for bagpipers.
Many scholarships are privately-funded endowments.
There are not, nor should there be, legal restrictions on
codicils of endowments.

I dunno the specifics of any but the 1st one at B.U. which was done to show how silly race based scholarships are.

And OH BOY did people flip out saying "white people are so racist for doing stuff like this"....had to see it in the paper for weeks

I really don't care. Blacks and Hispanics have their own scholarships as well, and I think it is quite racist on all sides. I would, however, encourage all scholarships to go to people without relation to race.

Imagine if the people receiving the scholarships actually deserved them, as in merit. How great that would be!

Ever hear of the ***** COLLEGE FUND? Ever hear of a white kid getting a scholarship through the NCF? Ever hear of MISS WHITE America? The Washington D.C. White Police Officers' Association (there's a black POA). Ever hear of the White Newspaper Columnist Organization (there's a BLACK NCO).
Grow up.
Tit for tat home girl.
