I have many "contacts" that are suspended because they were simply talking about history.

I think not only whites ,any person whatever his/her skin color can not handle the truth of him/herself..He/she who can not handle the truth because there is noperfect person created by God and there is always satan tempting him/her at any time for bginging ham/her to the wrong path.
Conceiting and dishonesting will make someone can not handle the truth.Individual over confidence will lead to mishandle the truth.

"Why can't some whites handle the truth about themselves?"
Well, I'm a white guy and earlier today some attractive woman came up to me and said "I know this is forward of me but you have got to be the handsomest guy I've seen all week." Well, I didn't think she was being truthful. I responded with, "Either you're pulling my leg or your eyes just opened after being closed all week." She insisted she was being forthright. "No, I really mean it," she insisted.
Well now I began to figure she had some other motive for calling me handsome. Maybe she needed a couple of bucks for a sandwich, I figured. "Listen, I'm not giving you a dime," I said. She rolled her pretty eyes as though frustrated and said, "Really, I don't want anything. I just wanted to give you a compliment."
I've thought about this beguiling woman all day long and it has started to occur to me that maybe she really meant what she said but me, a white guy, just couldn't handle it. Why couldn't I handle it? To tell you the truth, I don't know. I'll be interested to see the rest of your answers.

I'm white and I have no problem at all in handling the truth about myself as well as about the rest of the world in general. What I'd like to know, if possible, is what kind of specific truth are you referring to in your question?

I know. I wish I could just come to face the fact, that, well, basically I'm smarter than you. dang it, i'm sooooo stubborn
P.S. truth about history?? oh yeah. that says a lot. what "history" are you talking about. Ooooh!!! I remember! MY history!! okay, you see, I was born in a hospital some many years ago. My parents wanted a girl so they were happy................ and then in second grade I wanted a lollipop and they didn't buy me one.............. and in 8th grade I really wanted an I-pod but I didn't get one. I keep trying to convince myself that, YES i did get a lollipop, and YES I did get an i-pod, but you know, you're right. I should face the truth. I never did get my lollipop or my i-pod.
oh and btw, I'm ME. "Whites" isn't just some huge giant 10 stories tall! Whites are SEPARATE people and average sized (4-7 ft. tall) just because one person did something doesn't mean that I did.

Racism ceases to amaze me. All I have to say, is that, the previous list (except #2, upon which I agree completely) happens is ALL races. Race is just a difference in skin pigmentation and/or culture.

Honey, can you expound upon what you are talking about? I am quite aware that many, many whites have done horrific and inexcusable attrocities. It's the truth.
It's also the truth that THAT IS NOT ME!

The same reason anyone else can't. White, black, Asian, Hispanic....whatever.
This is an incredibly ignorant statement. Get a grip.

I didn't do anything. That was our ancestors and those stupid racist people out there. You are just as bad as any other racist person. People shouldn't let the bad things about a race reflect the whole race.

and what is this truth?
I bet this question will not get reported as much as a question asking "why can't black people handle the truth about themselves" and will get better (stupid) answers.
