isn't it illegal for any organization to deny someone something just based on race alone? If I were to apply for college money I would be turned down solely because of my race, because I'm white. How is this not racist? I can see the use of BET and stuff like that because let's face it, there are more white based programs on tv than anything, I don't have a problem with BET. But black people can get college money from the government, such as Pell grants, just as much as a white person can. But a white person cannot get college money from the United ***** College Fund. In my mind, this is racist! What if there were a United White People's College Fund that denied people just because of their race? That would be racist too, and never tolerated! Can someone please explain this to me?

I work at a restaurant and its frustrating that you can have 200 people love everything and you will have 1 person come in and complain about everything and try to make you feel horrible. It seems that some people like to complain, what makes them that way?

well my BFF just told me she was gay and likes me. So then she says, "It doesnt matter what you think, i'm not going to talk to you ever again anyways." But i still want to be friends bc i'm ok with that as long as she understands how I feel about taht (which i already told her, i like boys) but she won't talk to me..and I dont know what to do!!! hellpp me please



PS: we are like..14 years old and so as you kno lots of ppl question their sexuality around this point. so she mite not be and just care about me alot..but yeah what can i say to make her feel better??

daughter will carry on the religion according to jewish religion. During conversations earlier she mentioned that she didn't have a future with a guy she was seeing because of the religion (he is christian). Can anyone shed a clearer light on this? I feel that in this day and age especially given the fact that her father is english (and christian) and she appears completely english shouldn't really be an issue. What about her brother? If he marries someone non jewish then the children will not be jewish but if she does then the children will be jewish. All a bit confusing.

Last night, there was a group of African Americans outside of my apartment complex, it was 1 am and they were talking SO LOUD, I could not even sleep. Anyways, I was going to call the cops on them, but ended up letting it go. Today, when I woke up, I realized if it had been a group of white people doing the same thing, it would not have bothered me as much. I do not consider myself racist, but I was trying to logically explain to myself why that is.
