I would choose Love over sex every time. Example let's say I fell in Love and something happened to my partner and sex is now out of the question. I would not leave my partner because of it.

Sex can be an expression of love or just simple mechanics, it depends on how you go about it.

Its often said that 'The best way to kill a friendship is to have sex,' Sometimes thats true sometimes not. Though I try, I sometimes have a problem staying friends with exes.

Good sex includes passion and if there's not enough fuel to sustain that passion then the fire dies. If you burn through all your firewood right away, then there's nothing left. If you make sure that you spend some time gathering enough wood to keep it going you can keep a nice fire going indefinitely.

Its all in how you go about bringing balance to the equation.

I think that many people confuse willingness to have sex with love. I also think that many people don't know what love is, or can be. This isn't a problem of sex necessarily (because sex is often used to express love) but of society's lack of expression of love in general (either romantic or platonic). When societies don't teach what love is or can be, then members of that society don't really know what it is, and act accordingly.

When there are more people wanting sex than seeking love, then there is a problem that speaks more of society than of sex.

Well sex can be an expression of love. But I think just about everyone on the planet would chose love over sex. Sex is easy to find, true love not so much.

I agree: its time to think!

The "digitalizing" of our societies will push us to define our values, and then fight for them.

For me, sex is not a danger for love. More: it can be a way to find love. Sex is not violence, it is an instinct, a pleasure (or at least the search for). It is (sex) also the natural consequence of love and intimacy.

The commercialization of sex is another history. We know everything can be commercialized, even God.
