there are a lot of bible-thumpers out there screaming about how religious our founding fathers were and how this means that religion should be part of our government. Yet it was these same men who, knowing what religion can do, with and through government, who insisted on a seperation of church and state. "Dub-yah" has done his damnedest to bring his religious stance into office with him and look where it has gotten us... an unpopular war, worlwide condemnation of our country, and a president with the lowest IQ and a popularity poll even lower than his IQ. One can only hope that whoever becomes president next handles thing better than this present idiot.

Governments can be useful, for example by allowing us to marry. Here in Spain, without our actual Government, the LGBT community would certainly not enjoy living in one of the world's most gay-friendly nation.

Church and state are to remain seperate, a rule put in place by our government a long time ago and a very good idea. Unfortunately that is not the case most of the time.
