I'm African, (real African, not even African-American) but I've been in the states for a while now. For some reason, I'm only comfortable when hanging out with people from other races: Indian, white, asian, but I'm bored quickly when I'm with black people. I find that a little disturbing and unfair towards my fellow black men and women, what do you think? Thanks for your answers.

I always write charming answers, insulting everybody every now and then just to make everyone feel comfy, I struggle with "CONSIDER", I say "CONCIDER"

Well that it's a very complicate word to spell where I come from.

As a white guy who attended black schools as a child, I can tell you that it's much safer to be a black guy in a white neighborhood than a white guy in a black neighborhood. Any honest black person should tell you the same. That being said, I have nothing against anyone based soley on their race. Some of my best friends have been black...others mexican. I've been listening to rap music since whodini and RunDMC came out. My kings of comedy are R. Pryor, E. Murphy, and B. Cosby. I've seen racism from every angle and, to be honest, I can't believe were still having race problems. We're all Americans. That is our culture...AMERICAN. A black man in cuba and a black man in chicago do not share the same culture. Same for a white man in Sweden and a white man in San Diego. Black and white are colors, not cultures; no different than hair color or skin color.

When I lived in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, roughly 90% of my friends in my apartment were gay, or classified themsleves as gay.

The human being notices patterns. I noticed my friends would typically have relationship, after relationship, after relationship as often as most people change their underwear, and often would bed down with virtually anything and everything. I have seen statistics(although it was just one study), that for instance, a gay man in his prime in San Francisco would have on average 200-250 "partners" per year.

This made me think. Is the real problem with having a relationship with a woman, the fact, most woman are not "easy", and require at least some form of courtship? Let's face it, there is a reason why lesbians buy strap-ons...they want the very same thing a real man would give them, but somehow, they want it from a woman, and the same goes for a gay man, yet intimacy does not seem to be part of the equation(and I am not confusing sex for intimacy).

Why is it that almost all Hispanics (especially youths that grew up here), those that drive nicer cars or anything with shining rims always pull their window down, with loud music of some sort, and look over to see if you see them in their nice cars or rims (and make sure that you see them) - and switch watch from one arm to the other to make sure that it's the arm on next to the window so that people driving by can see it? Same goes for tattoo?

Is it necessary? I know all race have people that do the same but generally I have seen the most in Hispanics youths. And they drive recklessly too.

Hey
Im a sixteen year old guy. I feel attracted to girls and guys. However I can not see myself in a long-term relationship with a guy, only girls. However I still feel attracted to guys. So am I bisexual. If so, should I come out? Is it nessisary to come out? and if my parents are against it (I dont know if they are, because I have never talked to this with them) what will I do because I am only 16, its not like I can leave.
Thank you soo much for your help during this difficult time.

You know when people just throw around the 'you're gay' remark (as if it even has meaning anymore), what's the wittiest comeback to that? Someone I know does it to everyone (even girls) constantly and I want him to shut up.

I want to experience the good side of partying and fast-paced days and a lively nightlife. It seems like my friends ave a great time with some beautiful girls in the situations. However, it's just not me. I would feel (and know from experience) completely uncomfortable in a club or bar setting.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could have the cool stuff of hanging out and having fun without having to be miserable at a club?

When the circus comes to town, there is usually a parade that attracts a large crowd. Not everyone who goes to the parade goes to the circus or supports the circus. They are only there because it is a free form of entertainment.

If you think this is me being racist, think again. Just today it was on the news that white boys are under achieving than any other ethnicity in Britain today. I actually posted this because there are alot of posts on this site saying how bad black kids do in school. What do you think about it? check the link!

Short of weapons, threats, labodomys, and alcohol or drugs, would you try swinging if your partner agreed? Would a more open and safe outlook on sexuality reduce not only the divorce rates but also reduce psycotropic drug usage for deppression?

How many of you feel ashamed, humiliated or embarassed, and like a "loser" when you ask for and have to fight for assistance you deserve to receive?

Such as asking for, fighting with Workers Compensation when you have a legitimate work accident?

I am so used to being independent and self reliable that I just cringe and start to cry when I have to ask for assistance. Then I feel even more humilitated.

I know its probably about pride, which is about all I have left and not very darn much of that. If you are like me you WANT to say "in your face" I can take care of myself - but in reality I cant, I am homeless now. Scared to death.

Its a very hard and bitter pill to swallow.

Ok I'm a work and we have a blood van here. My boss said I could go and give blood so I went. When I began to do it, give blood, they asked some questions and then I was turned away because I was gay. The nurse said gays can't give blood because its and FDA rule if you have been with a man you are unable to do it.

What kinda of crap is that. I mean they say the blood supply is low but they turn you away. I'm clean and heathly and get tested every six months, oh and I've been with my partner forever. Someone please expalin this to me.
